Meomory card cannot be formatted??????

Hi friends ,
I have a memory card in my phone , i think so its affected by virus when i try to format in the phone it says MSDC read sector error when i try to format it . Now how can i format the memory card and use it .

you can format it in computer using card reader, it can see all the files in memory card and you can delete the file that you are think it is virus

Try this:
If you have computer/laptop and if it has card reader option then
insert your memory card in it and format it.
Tips:
1)You can also scan for viruses using computer/laptop's anti-virus software to your memory card using this option.
2)Try to use friends/friend's phone and format it.

Formatting a memory card means deleting everything on it.
Sometimes there are programs running on the card itself that prevents you from deleting it.
Maybe you're running a app from your SD card and don't know about it? If you think there's a virus on it take it out and buy/borrow an adapter that allows you to hook your SD card to your computer.
Have your antivirus running. If it detects anything it will usually quarantine the file(s) in question and give you adequate time to delete the infected/suspected files.
