Do you argue.

Yes,i do argue. That's one purpose of this site,being an open forum site. Everyone is free to express their feelings and ideas. But,it doesn't mean that we had to be rude,or use bad words when arguing. Personally,i never received any personal,or too much offensive response to my discussion. If ever i happen to be in such situation,i guess i will just ignore it.

Hello! I have never receive negative comments or something bad from other people side. But, If It would happen first what I do: I try to communicate with this people and I try to clarify what is the problem? If this do not help maybe I report this user or give a negative rating. I can only tell people here is honestly and do not search troubles here. I am happy that I do not have experience of bad people here. Take care, Have a nice day!

Not definitely backfire, it sounds more on revenge part. I can handle criticism and even harsh ones but I will not lie that I get affected and get hurt inside whenever I got to read response like that. Harsh criticism can be when someone already judge me without reading my response or judge me blindly maybe because they just don't like me. sometimes I just ignore them , because there are more to life and my time will just wasted and I will be emotionally affected. I can say I comment back on the comments if that is necessary and not comment back because I will anticipate what will happen.

I just try to understand why they've written what they've written and if they're being rational I just respond with how I feel about the comment and try to make them understand my point of view. Some are just being silly but some do feel strongly otherwise about the topic that I've started and that's just fine with me, we all have our own opinion and at the end of the day, it's just discussion and we all have the right to say what we think.

i just explain my side. if she will not believe then it's a person's choice. everyone is entitled to their opinion and we should also respect it. there's nothing to argue over it, or be mad about it.

hi eddie, yes sometimes i do get negative comments but i just dont try to ignore them but rather try to discuss that and come to know why he had to say that and atlast whos correct. :D

I usually just ignore negative comments because it takes too long to respond to these stupid kind of people who are not worth it. Negative people are not worth any respect. I have witnessed people leaving Mylot because of people and I just ignore them or report them if it is really bad.

The one thing I hate the most in life is complication/s. So as much as possible I stay away from it and do not do anything to produce one. And based from what I've stated, I don't do fight back to anyone who gave negative comments on my post here in MyLot. If I have to explain something about myself then I do it but in a nice manner so as not to create any conflict with anyone. It makes me uncomfortable knowing I have offended anyone or someone hates me just because I do this evil things and that. So beings nice with everyone is the way to go for me. :)

It depends on my mood.I can be pretty sensitive person and sometimes if I feel hurt I lash back. I usually do that also when someone responds to a discussion and it has nothing to do with it! I only argue when it comes to religion and other heated topics! I ignore some when I get frustrated.

Normally I will not argue to someone without any reason, but if I receive a negative comment that I cannot accept or unreasonable comment, I will fight back.

i try not to argue.. but then again, i do not keep silent if i feel that my response or comment was mis-interpreted..

So far I haven't received any negative comments. And if ever I'll encounter one, I'll try to give my side in a nice way. If the discussion will lead to negative atmosphere already, then I'll just ignore it. Anyways, most of the people here even if friends, don't know each other personally. I'd rather not ruin my purpose of joining here in mylot and just continue with other discussions as if nothing happened.

Hmm... Yeah I've received negative comments. It's part of using this site right? People are free to write their comments and responses and you have no option to delete it. Not that I want to of course. I very much welcome negative comments. It's their opinion and you should also respect them. In addition, you get to know another different view about the topic you started. And if I answer their comments, I wouldn't call it arguing, for me it's a clash of opinions. =)

since im new here, i havent gotten any negative comments but if ever i get it, i think i will (hehe)., depending on the level of negativity..if its rude, then i'll fire back,but not in a way that i will look more stupid than him/her.

You may not believe this but I have only gotten two really nasty responses in the three years I have worked on mylot. I treasure anyone who responds with a different point of view and am happy to correspond with them. Many times I give a best response award to someone like that. The really nasty responses I don't remember what I did, probubly just hit the delete button.

there are two sort of negative comments. if it is a direct attack on me, i shall just ignore. it serves no purpose to fart at him and pollute the healthy environment we have here in my lot. if it is any comment related to my opinion, i shall restate my stand with more descriptive words and have an healthy discussion. with all respects i shall clear his/her doubts and convince him. if i really had done any mistake, well there is nothing i loose to change my stand. ego problem never arises here as nobody laughs or make fun of me. so my lot is one place U can revisit your ideas and check how world thinks about it.

most of the times i really have to justify my post but sometimes, i just leave them alone...
