Yeah I know there are alot of people out there who are out to only take your money or waste your time. I know there are a lot of people out there who are full of sh*t and don't care if you make one red cent with their program.
But there are those people and programs that are true and would do what ever it takes to help you build a downline and make money. If you do your research and ask the right question you will find out there are some great free sites and sites that you will have to pay for that can really help you make money....
So why are people so scared to even take a chance?

Everyone is scared of getting scammed, working really hard and not receiving payouts. I always try to see if they have a good reputation first before joining.

I don't think it's so much about being scared as much as it is about being cautious and ppl are cautious b/c "there are a lot of ppl out there who are full of sh*t and don't care". Ppl get burned enough and their cautious of fire.

you are right! there are millions of people out there who are out to get you.. but there are millions of people out there trying to help too. and i know when it comes to online it's hard to tell which is which. that's why i say it's important to build relatioships. so that you know who you are dealing with. so you know that person or feel comfortable enough to know that person is not out to get you. i think that's what makes my site work. I am building relationships. Last week i spent an hour on the phone helping someone join my programs. and she was so grateful she got 5 of her friends to join. Now that's how you should work a business... helping others and in turn helping yourself

I guess like alot have said already, people have probably been scammed 1 too many times & are too scared to take another chance...me on the other hand, I put it down to a learning experience & move on to another site.

that's it, a learning experince. you learn how to read the sites and people who are telling you about this program and that one. you get to see who is real and who is full of crap. and trust me there are a lot of people out there who honestly want to help. is there something in it for them? well of course. but there is somthing in it for you too. its a win win situation.

This is soooo true! I like to try & help people hence I wrote a blog about the sites I have joined..I have also mentioned which sites have & haven't paid me yet depending on if I have reached payout or not...all we do is learn from our mistakes & from research.

34 momma I think perhaps they have gone to these things that want you to pay two hundred or three hundred for their program that is going to make you thousands every day;okay what these people are doiing is recruiting you to further the scam by selling the same bizarre package to others for two hundred or three hundred dollars, and I wonder what is really in that package, probably just information telling you to offer this package to others and they will pay you x dollars.so you are scammed and are asked to scam others into buying your package of scam.so a lot of people myself included are fed up.and taking a chance usually means you lose money. no thanks I will stick to mylot, my survey,my opinion, Harris Poll and Tolunna. These pay and survey and the other surveys mail you checks.
I do know there are some legit writing sites but even then unless you are talented enough to not need to wor k on them you will get your stuff turned down.

Hey Hately... first let me say this, if any site out there askes you to pony up hudreds of bucks to join their program, I SAY RUN AWAY FAST AND FAR
I for one am not scared of investing in online sites because i know of a few that im working with now that only cost $10 and are so not scams!! i love my survey sites and work them each and every day!

I never qualify for those surveys! It's so frustrating!
And if I saw a site whee I had to pay lots of money upfront, I'd run away too! Or I'd also run away if they promised me hundreds of dollars in a week. How unlikely, but it traps so many newbie online earners!

And I think that's what scares people away the false promises. and trust me there are alot of false promises out there. I don't make any promises. I let my downline know that this is like running your own business. how much you make depends on your efforts. but because now we are business partners I will do my very best to make sure that we all make money. because I can only make money if my downline makes money. So it's my responsiblilty to help them make money.

Most of the people who start trying to earn money online believe that they will get rich in no time. They are easily scammed and they start fearing.
There are good sites where you can make some money working a lot. It´s the same as if you were working at another job: noone gives away money.
For me, the best sites are the old sites. Those are my backbone or my monthly earning. Then I risk some work (not money) at some new sites. If I lose my work it´s ok.
But all this takes some learning. I invested at "good" sites only to discover later that they only wanted my money. Bux.to is owing me over $800. Do you think it will pay me? I stopped counting on that a long time ago, but I learnt.
I still get scammed once in a while but I´m not scared anymore. And with my sites, with the site trading I make to get a couple of referrals (more work from my part) I finally get the $100 a month I need for my yearly vacations.

Hi Marguicha... you are right. once someone is scammed they get scared and think everything is a scam. The sad thing is that's so far from the truth. like most of us know there are sites that pay. but with any site rather free or ones you pay for, if you don't build a downline you are not really making much money. it's all about building a relationship with your downline, which creates income

I think it's the scams people are afraid of. They're afraid of losing money, instead of earning money. With me, I only sign up with sites that I can earn money from and if they turn out to be scams, they end up just being a waste of time, not money. I don't invest with my money in the internet though.

Hi StephanieAnnc... no one wants to be taking advantage of. trust me in the 6 years i have been doing this i have had my moments when i got scammed. but only once or twice because I was lucky enough to find mentors. I found two amazing people who were making money, who showed me how to do it, and how to build relationships with my downline. and I am happy to say i am not making money online, I am creating an income online and I love it

That's amazing! I'm working on getting an income, but not working as well as I'd like. I guess I'm lazy, well, maybe not lazy, but I don't like waiting forever to see results. Although, I've gotten better. I've signed up fro a lot of sites, but I really only use a couple multiple times a day. What do you do to earn money? I'm okay with my earnings. I mean, of course I'd like to earn more and more, but if I don't, I'm okay with that. I can't spend forever online--I wish I could!

The way I see it, if the program doesn't cost me anything, I'm in, but if I have to pay into it, I want proof from people I know personally that it's legit.

This people afraid to "TAKE THE RISK". If you want to earn, you must do whatever the consequences happen. I am a risk taker so it means I am not afraid or scared to spend my effort and time to any making money sites. I start with zero but now I already earn alot of bucks. Those people who are scared to take the risk in any site will no longer earn any to different sites. It's really hard to introduce any program to different people specially if they are skeptic with any business opportunities. Let them to discover the essence of earning money using computer and internet.

You are so right about that! you have to be a Risk taker. You have to believe in yourself enough to just go for it. somethings you will fail and sometimes you will hit a jackpot! I am all about hitting the jackpot!! and i think with my new website I did just that!!

what ever little money i have i don't wanna lose. that is why i don't want to take risk. if only i have extra money i don't mind risking my money or even losing some of it. but in times where i have only enough money to survive i better to stick with tried and safe that i know of that i won't have to risk or invest any thing at all. it is not being afraid to try, but i am just trying to make sure that i will have enough to survive or get by in life.

I guess it is the fear of the unknown!
I guess, to a lot of people, the internet is still an 'unknown'. Something that a layman wouldn't fully comprehend on how it works. Add to it that one has to provide private information about one's self to verify identity, and the news blitz of people being scammed on line, contributes to the fear of uncertainty.

Hey bounce58 you are 100% right. the fear of the unknown keeps people from doing alot of thing in life not just online stuff. But can you just imagine what life would be like without any of that fear. With just taking a leap of faith and knowing that it will all work out... Wow it would be amazing. and that's just what i did. I took a chance and I found that you can really do this online thing without getting scammed! You just need to find the right mentors like I did. Now 6 years later... I am doing it

Because most people do not want to waste their time or their money, and they think there is a chance they might do both if they try stuff online. So they do it because they are overly cautious, I think!

Some people are hesitant to join, basically because there are lots of scam sites proliferating on the net. There are sites that are genuine but offer very little income opportunity. I guess some people are not scared, they just don't want to waste time and money on such sites. Btw, what are some of the sites that really help to make money?

Ya there are genuine sites but scams are lot more , so if a person who is starting 1st time have a greater chance to bump into a scam , and it's like "Once bitten twice shy" so the person loses faith in such ways of making money altogather

I think the answer to your question is quite obvious. The natural instinct is to be more careful of the unknown especially with today's economy in recession, the probability for getting into a scam program is higher than before. Therefore, a lot of people are still adamant with regards to investing their money, time, and effort in a program that might not pay up.
