Unexpected visits?

Did it ever happen to you? A busy day, or just a relaxing day at home alone or with family enjoying your life, when your friends call and tell that they might pass by or even ring the door bell and pay you a visit.
When I read it now, it doesn't seem that annoying, but it really is when you try to take a nap for example and someone wakes you up.
Have you experienced unexpected visits from friends or relatives? If so, how do you react?
In my case, I've experienced such visits, I'm quite annoyed sometimes, but despite that I always try to welcome my quest with a smile.

Oh yeah, I absolutely agree with you. It's very annoying when they appear in unsuitable moments and wish you do what they want! However, I'm trying to be tolerant and to sacrifice my wishes for them. That's good that you welcome them with a smile! Keep going and remember that for every gesture you do, there will be a reflection. Have a nice day. :)

Sometimes a smile can make quite an impact, but it depends on the visitors too. If they are your friends or relatives, there's good chance that the gesture will be returned.

Yes, it happens to me from time to time and I really don't like it. I never do it to others either because I think it is not part of good manners. But I don't know how to make people stop doing it...

yeah. it happened. i don't know why a number of my high school classmates thought about dropping by at my house and chatting with such a boring person like me :))) i mean, i felt like some sort of anti-social when i was in high school though i had some friends. but i did appreciate those unexpected visits because i felt like i was sort of an important person to those people. but i'd really appreciate it if my best guy friend visited me unexpectedly 'cause i really miss him! :)) haahah.
