What does the month of August remind you of?

The month of August reminds me of hot weather, the end of summer break, and the start of school. I really enjoy August though! :)

Football season! That and back to school, though this year I won't be affected by schools being back in session other than when I am driving around during commute times.

Family. I have three family members who were born in the month of August and we try to give them a huge party where we can celebrate all three days with those that mean the most to them.

The birthday of our country is on the 9th. From the 14th Singapore welcomes the world for the first ever Youth Olympics.

Sun, Beaches, Fun, and away from school

August for me is the start of the 3 savings month.Since Christmas will be due in 5 months as August enters, I usually start saving during this month.

August reminds me of get-togethers, because I have a lot of friends who are celebrating their birthdays on August, that's why it won't pass without us seeing each other. And these are the friends that I have known since forever.. I mean we have been friends since we were in elementary days and yearly get togethers are really a big thing for us.

The month of August is special to me. My late husband celebrated his birthday in August. My teen daughter and my mother-in-law also celebrate August birthdays. It is also the month we get ready for back to school. August is also time for the fair here. August is a busy month for me.

This month always reminds me of my 1st real girlfriend back in high school. The real one I say because I was so young then but all the happy and painful moments just felt so damn real and when we broke up it even took me two years to recover.That was more than a decade ago but every year I would always just remember that it is her birth month even though I don't always remember to greet her on her specific day.

I live in Texas and in Texas we have lots of sports and heat. So I remember football and triple-digit heat. I remember getting in the pool only to have it feel like bath water. :[ I also remember the beginning of school and seeing all the people you haven't seen in a while.

Month of agust hmm its my mom birthday so it reminds me that i celebrate with her her birthday and she gives me the party that the most great part she takes to me to the movie i luv my mom i am so greatfull to my mom...

Of course, reminds me of my last experience which was also the nicest, from the last year. I was doing a stage of practice in Italy, so in august i was in Italy, visiting Florence, i was so happy, it was the first time i was visiting Florence, and i was so impressed of what i saw there, so amazing.

When I think about the month of August the first thing that comes to mind is the extremely hot weather. The temp averages close to 120 around here. Since the previous town I lived in never got this hot this is always something I notice about August in the place I'm currently living in. August is also a month for quite a few events too. I'm also reminded of my parent's anniversary, on the 23rd, as well as the day my family came to the United States, which is the 25th. And finally, August is associated with going back to school even though I am no longer in school myself. There's the hustle and bustle of school shopping and kids running around the stores during this month.

Well month of August is kind of special to me. It mainly reminds me of three things. Firstly it reminds me of our Independence Day on 15th day of August. My country India got Independent on 15 August 1947 and since then this day is observed as Independence Day of India and it is a national holiday for us. Second thing is that my Sister and my father have their birthdays in this month on 6th and 14th respectively and that makes this month special for me. Third thing is that it is in the month of August that my college reopen after a 2 month long Summer vacations. So it is the month that my life again gets busy. So overall August month has a special place for me in the calender. Take Care :)

When I think of August, I think about hot sunny days, the kids on their summer break from school, and numerous trips to the beach, or picnics in the park.

Sadly, August marks the end of the summer. For me, the month of August is a wondrous and special month. I was born on August 11th... and it is the month of the strongest sign... the Leo.

it reminds of my ex gf's bday. i dont wanna remember it as i am happily married. She is also happily married. But i dont want to feel that i have forgoten a good friend of mine.
