What might be the reason?

Friends I use Yahoo messenger US 10 for chat besides Skype. 
For the last two days I find a peculiar thing while chatting in YM with cam.
When the cams are opened, my picture and friends picture are seen right. Then almost immediately my picture is seen in both cam windows. 
I observed it numerous times.
The weird thing is this happened while I talked to my friend in Davao in Philippines, but not with friends in India or US.
Another good thing is, while talking with the Davao friends using ‘Video call’ this problem was not there. No problem with Skype while talking with Davao friend.
So what might be the reason, if you know please tell me.
Do you chat with friends in net? Which messenger you use, did you face any problem ever, please share.

awh I'm so sorry that such a technical trouble is happening to you...
basically, I do use YM and MSN but I have had never used the webcam... I would rather use the mice or the keyboard to communicate out with friends...but, one of my cousins have had somehow a similar problem where her webcam got visible to everyone in her list and everyone was viewing her! after that, she decided to never ever use the cam and that is why I'm scared not to use it

I never really have time to do that, but my daughter has and I never saw, on Yahoo chat, the same issue that you mention. Is it a setting in your computer?

I'm using Yahoo IM 10. I don't use a cam so I can't say I'm having similar problem. Since the last upgrade, I have been having a lot of strange problems with Yahoo in general!!! My problems usually only last for 2 maybe 3 days & then they just clear up. As I've noticed with many popular sites, they NEVER warn us of major upgrades or any upgrade for that matter & when the problems pop up, they quietly resolve them in the background!!! I've been having most of my problems with their email system & that seems to be clearing up some too!!! Maybe your problem will just magically disappear in the near future!!!

I think with yahoo, especially the older version, you'll often experience problems.
