Just because mylot is a easy-to-remember five-letter dot com domain name. A good domain name plays a extremely important role in the success of a website.

I agree with zausiu. It's called "mylot" because it's an easy for remembering name. Maybe there is some special meaning of the name, maybe some abbreviation.. Who knows? We should ask them. :)

as for me .. it has many meanings. my self,my own experience,my status,my favorites,any thing that has to do with yourself, and you want to share it with others, its like ur lot to their lot ( my experience to theirs )

To me myLot means my favorite group of people with whom I enjoy working with. Yes, indeed, myLot is an excellent place to meet and make friends with very nice and friendly people from countries around the world. It is so interesting to exchange ideas and learn about one another's countries and cultures. That is the real value of myLot community

I asked it before and although people shared their creative answers, I still wasn't quite convinced about its meaning. However lot means area so maybe it's My Area/My Space.
