Imagine, I went to work without taking a bath. It is hard. We had only few water left when I left home and then, when I came back, we still have no water. We could not use the bath room or clean our house. It is difficult. The Maynilad said that it would cut off water supply for some hours, but we did not expect it for almost 24 hours. It is difficult. It will cause problems like skin infection because the scarcity of water could not help us clean up.It is too bad.

Haha I go to work without taking a bath everyday! I know that's gross but I work from my home so I guess it does not matter! Also I don't take baths, I usually shower.

Hi, I can't live without water. I need to drink water everyday and also take shower. One day, I will take at least 2 times of shower. Sometimes, during hot season, I will take about 3-4 times shower a day. I just can't stand when my body gets sweat and smelly. So water is very important element in my life. Apart from shower, I need water everytime I go to bathroom,to flush the toilet bowl, clean my face, wash my hand and legs,etc... Normally, the water board department will give us a notice if there is a water supply problem,so I will stock up few pair of water at home, for emergency use. Every night, I will stock up at least 1 big pail of water in the bathroom,in case suddenly no water supply, then at least I have some water can be used.

It happens frequently in my country when the water supply is cut sometimes for days together.Water is a precious commodity and we need to use it with a lot of care and never waste.I see many people struggling to get water from far off wells and ponds for their daily needs ...

I would rather have no power than have no water. That was hard, leaving the house without taking a bath. I don't know if I would go to the office if I were in your place. I would called in sick unless there's a bathroom where I can take a bath in the office. Was there water in your clinic?

I feel so bad for you for having to deal with this. I am lucky enough to live in a country where we only have no water when there are temporary faults. My boiler broke this week and we had water but no hot water, and in a house with 3 kids under the age of 11 this was a bit of a chore. Mind you the kids were quite happy not to have to have baths or wash their hair!!! Oh to be young again !

We have the same situation here in our area but the worse part is we've without water for 4 days now. We can't afford to not have any water because we have an 8-month old baby. I think I heard Maynilad saying it would take about 4 more typhoons before the water supply would normalize. The funny thing is Manila Water customers are not experiencing any shortage.. fancy that.

There is no water in our place today. it has been since this morning that no water were coming out from the faucet. It is a good thing that our helper stocked water last night which is enough for everyone of us.

hi mimiang, this is one thing that i really hate. its like hell when we don't have any water to use in the house. i also experience such thing and it really irritates me...it makes me feel sticky and really difficult to move. and many house works are also affected when we don't have water supply... for me, i can live without electricity but never without water... hope everything will be fine soon in your place.

I can live without electricity but not without water. The last time our water supply was cut off was during the time of Typhoon reming. Good thing that our office is just near by so i can get water from the buildings reserved for our daily needs. But it was still torture for me. When Ondoy came, life is more bearable because even if the house was flooded there was still continuous water supply.

Oh man I remember when I didn't have water, but it was for a week or so, but still my dad who knew how to get water. Still it is awful to not be able to take a bath or flush the toilet I really know how horrible that feels. I never want to again experience a life with out water I just can't bear with that you know. A person always wants to be clean no matter what and skipping a day with out a shower can leave one feeling very uncomfortable. Skin infection yes it can cause that, but only if you didn't have water for a long time because are skin must always be washed and clean so the dirt will not pile up on your skin. When theirs dirt on the skin it can lead to rashes really itchy not fun at all. Water should never be taken for granted and when we do and we don't have it for a while. We tend to appreciate it more when that happens. I know that I did I was really glad when my dad got the water back on because I felt clean again and I didn't feel dirty at all.

Luckly i haven't been affect by basyang. I was here at Nueva Ecija all the time and it's not much rain here but yes still raining. but I expereince that kind of thing before, I forgot the name of the typhoon but it was the one that brought all the billboard down at manila and there has been no water supply and electricity for 2 weeks because of the fallen electric post. I was still in college that time and I experience the no bath and wearing un-ironed pants and shirt. lol. its really hard when it's like that.
