I like traveling, and I would often take the plane, It's not that I'm afraid of the ocean it's just that I feel a little uncomfortable when traveling by sea, Even the smallest boat would make me feel uncomfortable..I have never been on a Cruise, I would love to try it, and hope that it would change the way i feel about traveling by sea, How about you? up? or down? by air or by sea?

travelling by sea for a couple of hours is fine but more than 12 hours is already tiring for me, so for longer distance travel, i prefer the plane, it also saves you time.

I have never travelled by sea, there is river Mahanadi near my home, i love moving on a boat at times just for fun For travelling to places in india, i give first preference to train service, go by air-conditioned 2 tier coach, very comfortable. If not i travel by bus, they too are air conditioned.. Thanks for sharing God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘@Bhuwan@’. .

It would be the air every time for me, simply because it is so much quicker. I do not mind sailing but when it's just a case of getting from A to B I would much rather take the fastest route, and I don't really fancy a cruise at all!

I have traveled by air many of times. I have also been on the sea, I didn't get to travel as much just out into the Atlantic Ocean. Small boats do scare me, with all the rocking motion. You should try a cruise, those ships are so huge. You wouldn't even know your out to sea on one of those things. I was in the Navy and the ship I was on is similar or a bit smaller than a cruise ship. I would love to go on a cruise, actually enjoy being out to sea without having to work. Maybe one day when my kids have moved out, I will be able to take one.

I don't like both because I am afraidn of both. I don't like air because I am afraid of height. I am afraid of sea travel because I can't swim and I hate waves. I feel I will get dizzy and throw up. I would choose travelling by land although there are so many road accidents, I don't care because that is the only form of transportation I can take aboard. . I really want to move on for being afraid of travelling by air because i want to go to Korea, I believe a certain situation will allow me to do that however, I do not know what it is.

Hi. ivygrey. I would rather travel by sea than air. But to be honest with you, I don't want to travel by either one if I can help it. I can't swim and I am so afraid of high heights!

I like to travel by because i like the feeling of flying, looking out of the plane's window and looking at the islands and beautiful scenery below. I also like traveling by boat because it's more relaxed if you're not in a hurry. On the other hand there really nothing you can do if you're in an airplane except read a book, watch a movie or listen to songs in the confines of your seat. But it's the way to go if you're in a hurry and enjoy looking at a magnificent view below. Of course it depends on the weather.

I prefer air becuase it is fast, though expensive, it will take me to my chosen destination. I do not like sea travel , I get really sick and sometimes come out more sicker than I were before boarding. It is simply beacuse I am a highlander. I do not have sea in my area.

Thank you so much for sharing Namastey. Kalyani

I am more into traveling by air. Like you I am uncomfortable when I am in a boat, thus I never thought of traveling by sea/ship. I know how to swim, I think I would survive, though I do not like the idea that you may float for days in a deep blue ocean while waiting for rescue, not to mention that there might be sharks and jellyfish around. Though air travel does not provide you more chances of survival, unless you have your parachute. I am more at ease riding it than ships.

I would much prefer to take the plane if I needed to get somewhere for a specific appointment. I would then know that I would arrive in time. I have however, been on an ocean cruiser on a holiday, and it was very laid-back and relaxing. We got to be in a different country each day and take a look around before setting sail over-night for the next destination. It was a great way to travel when there is no hurry. _Derek

I would definitely take the plane. I have once tried taking a big ship, the travel was I think overnight, the travel to the destination was okay, we had fun, but the travel back home was a totally different story. There was a weather disturbance, so it was quite shaky because of the waves, and I wasn't able to sleep because I was so dizzy, I just wanted to get out of the boat, the worst part is that we had a couple more hours of travel before we can get home. That was really horrible, and I don't think I would be able to ride a ship again if the travel time is more than 2 hours. Hehehehe.

I like to travel by air because it's faster and more convenient. I'm afraid of deep water coz I don't know how to swim. I know I know you'll be riding the boat :) But my fear is stronger.

by air of course. for fast and instant arrival. but if wanting a slow and relaxing journey, a cruise will be the choice. but traveling through both ways as well depends on budget.
