Is there a relation between WWE and TNA? I see superstars switching between the two quite often that I wonder whether they are competitors or are products with the same people backing, just to capture more eyeballs!!
What are your views on this?
Cheers!

WWE and TNA are two different companies belonging to different people. As for people switching, they do it because of choice. One wrestler may work for WWE and when their contract ends, they are free to go to TNA and ask to work there. They are different businesses with different benefits.

I think WWE is more popular then TNA. And TNA player go to WWE who play very well and whose performance is not good they go back to TNA. I do love to watch WWE match more then TNA.As more strong player are in WWE.
Good luck!

TNA and WWE are rival wrestling promotions competing for the same fanbase and market share.WWE operates out of Stamford CT, while TNA has its headquarters in Nashville, TN.Vince refuses to acknowledge TNA and even banned the Superstars and Divas from visiting the Impact Zone during last year's Wrestlemania weekend.

Hello,
WWE and TNA are match fixings. The owners of these give salary according to their fight. It will be interesting for the viewers to watch. But there is so much pain for the wrestlers who wrestle .The superstars switch between WWE and TNA because the owners of one may give them extra salary.

WWE and TNA are two different companies where WWE being the oldest one in this business. Wrestler swap between TNA and WWE but it would depend on their contract. I was watching Kurt Angel interview and he said that the reason he went to TNA was, it was getting difficult for him to work in WWE as he had to work real hard and there was no off for the WWE wrestlers. On the other hand TNA told him that he can take rest and take off and still he would be paid. Likewise there would be many reasons to swap. I have noticed that more number of WWE established superstars going into TNA but only few TNA superstars make into WWE. Whatever the reasons be, it's worth watching.

There isn't really any sort of relation between the two promotions to be honest, other than the fact that they are both American. Total Non-Stop Action has always tried to fill the void that was left by WCW after they folded of being WWE's top contender, but they've never sort of reached that level (as proved by the absolute failure of attempting to ignite Monday Night Wars 2.0).
TNA is bursting with WWE-jects though, such as Ken Anderson and Brian Kendrick. They are still great performers, but it's sad knowing that their careers in TNA will never be 1/5th the type of career that WWE could have gave them had they received the opportunity.

Ram-
To be honestI bet it is merely a money or contract issue. Brock Lesnar started out doing WWE and now he's earning big bucks with MMA in the UFC. I'm not sure though if the WWE and TNA are owned by the same folks though, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were. We're talking about a multi-million dollar business since when we were kids.
I'm not saying all of those guys are in it for the "money", but it's not a petty salary either.

Actually what surprises me is that I see people moving back and forth again and again. I mean you usually employ some one and if he leaves you once, you give another chance, but here the migration seems to be too often... so looks like underneath there is some kind of a tie-up...
Cheers!

WWE and TNA are two very different companies. Very, different companies, in fact. TNA is backed by an energy company, that basically their money sustains TNA and if they pull out, TNA is pretty much in a lot of trouble. WWE on the other end, has no backing, it is built from the ground up by the McMahon family. It is far ahead of TNA and while I do not agree with many of their decisions, WWE is well put together and pretty much knows how to do business.
The only connection that WWE and TNA have, is that they are both wrestling companies. TNA is obsessed with beating WWE in many ways, while WWE barely even acknowledges the existence of TNA. The gap is so big that it's staggering. TNA does have some great elements to it for sure but they are really minor league compared to WWE. TNA is not backed by WWE, as there would be nothing to gain for WWE and Vince McMahon in general. WWE doesn't need a false company, especially one run so hit and miss like TNA is.

Just two different businesses. WWE is the big leagues. TNA is number 2 and building itself up.
