Praying to god?

Everyone now has become selfish.Think about themselves,think of happiness even if its achieved keeping happiness of others at stake. Many prays to god only when they are in trouble or they want something. I pray to god to give me strength to fight in bad situation but not to take me out of it. I wanna face i difficulties.. Do you pray? Did you prayed anytime for others? What do you pray? Share yourself...

Just a few nights ago I had a huge spiritual pray with God. I always thank him in my prayers, instead of just asking. Sometimes when I'm sick, hurt, or scared, I only ask when I pray, but any other time, I always thank.

Thanx for sharing.. I feel asking is like begging so its just better to just thank god and leave.

Well, for me prayer is important. The moment I wake up, I pray thanking God for giving me another beautiful morning and before I sleep, I thank God for sustaining me throughout the day. Yes, I do pray for others. In our church, I joined a small group of single ladies and every time we meet, we share our prayer requests so that we could pray for each other. I also have accountability partners who pray for me and I pray for them as well. Prayer has a very strong power that's why it's very important for me. By the way, me and my friends doesn't only pray for requests but also for thanksgiving, confessions and for praising God of His goodness.
