RAOK stands for Random Acts of Kindness.
Someone said that doing just one a day for someone, makes you not only feel better, but help humanity to keep the humanity.
Lately, if you just turn on the TV or radio, the news you hear are so bad, that you don't even want to lixten to them. It's all the time something bad happening, if it's not a natural disaster than it's a crime, a robbery. a war, someone stabbed, awful things.
I ask you - do you do any daily RAOK or at all?
When was the lat time you did something good for others?

My radar is always up and on. It's in my nature. Opportunity's abound whenever you're out in public.

this reminds me or ARK in the movie evan almighty. it stands for an Act of Random Kindness. i don't really commit myself to it, like i have to do a good deed when i can. i just do it when it comes up. i think right now the biggest gesture i did was for my friend. but partly, i did it for me too. my friends and i went on a wakeboarding trip last saturday for my birthday, but one of my friends said she couldn't go with us due to budget problems. she doesn't have a job right now so i could understand it. my other friend said that she could go with us, and she doesn't have to go wakeboarding. she could just hang out with us. i don't want her to feel left out so i told her that i would treat her to wakeboarding lessons. i told my other friends that i hope they're okay with it, even if i couldn't treat all of them. in the end, all of us were happy that she could come with us.

I didn't have an acronym for my behavior. I am a born-again Christian. Kindness is a character trait that Jesus asks for. I have hugged ladies in church, I have complemented them. My reward is two fold. One is eternal life. The second is the thankx I get from the person. Do I always perform RAOK? No. I do my best and know that Jesus will give me my reward through eternal life.
