What makes more earning points? Making a NEW DISCUSSION or REPLYING TO THOSE???

Hi shockrayz, welcome to myLot.
Now...we don't really earn points here. We earn money. As for what earns more, my answer would be neither, but when you start a discussion and comment back on your responses (not just 'Thank you for responding'), especially if you further the topic, you have a chance to earn more.
Your earning depends on the quality of your post. The exact amount is not known to anyone but the admins and they are not telling.

It doesn't really matter whether you started the discussion or just replying to one. All that matters is quality which is achieved by really getting involved with discussions. This is why there are others who are complaining that they aren't getting anything from their posts. Its usually because their posts are just a one line reply with just a thank you message or something that. Unfortunately, posts like that aren't gonna get paid. But once you really started getting involved with discussions, you wouldn't even noticed your earnings are piling up. I saw you drop by on one of my discussions, I have a feeling you'll do very well here at mylot. =) Happy mylotting shockrayz.

By the way, when you open a new discussion, you have to at least try to reply to those who have responded. I think mylot doesn't like it if you keep opening new discussions and then just leave it like that. Just a tip, it won't earn you that much.

That is perfect. I'm happy that i passed by on this post and have read all the information specially the one you commented ms angryeve. Now, there comes the spirit.Before, I do posts many discussions but I never knew that I shpoul also reply to all their responses. Now I know...Thanks to you.

That number does NOT show all of your posts!
A number is added when you:
- start a new discussion and it receives 2 responses (or 1 response + 1 comment)
- respond for the first time on a discussions satrted by others
- comment for the first time on a response on a discussion started by other.
A number is deducted when you lose a post because of deletions by admin.
Further resèponses and/or comments on the same discussion do not show in that number but they DO create earnings.

The number beside your name means the number of posts - started discussions and comments/responses made. You have to bear in mind that discussions, comments and responses are considered posts. Hence, it does not follow also that you earn more by starting a discussion than making a comment or vice versa. Take note that we do not earn in a fixed rate. We earn depending on the quality of our post whether it be a started discussion or a comment/response.

Our earnings are really reflected int the number by our name. That just shows the number of posts we have made.. Although once you get a star by your name I hear that
depending on the color of your star your earnings may be effected.
you get paid a little more if your rating is high. But I wouldn't worry about that yet.. Just keep replying to your discussions. Try to be thorough.
Quality is very important.

your earnings in my lot totally depends on the quality of your posts it doesn't depend on the number of replies you have given. the numbers that you see in front of nickname are the number of replies you have made. Quality still needs to be there in order to make good earnings in my Mylot

Just wanna share my piece of mind. Before, in every comment I made I always look at the number beside my nickname and I thought that the more I post to discussion or replied or commented to any response or comments of others, then the more I get the chance to earn money.But Yeah, I never thought of the quality. Because now the motto here in myLot is get paid highly through quality not quantity of posts, comments, or response. Hope that answers your curiosity. No, you are wrong. You earn both by start discussion or respond to discussions. Your earning depend on the quality of your post. If you write a good responses than post discussions than your earning by respond to discussions would be higher. Let me share with you. If you start discussions, you have to comment back on responses you got for your discussion in order to get more. You can't just reply by thanks, or thank you for the response. Comment like that won't get anything. If you want to earn more from your responses, try to make descriptive responses with 4 or five lines sentences. This will make your earning higher.
