Tagging gives us the opportunity to increase our earnings if we make good use of them.
Our discussions, if tagged correctly, will be seen by others and could receive more responses. We can then earn by commenting on them and furthering the topic.

Well said here, explains everything so I guess this thread will help us make mylot a better way to search, by the way I want to make it clear can it be a phrase or a keyword/s only?

If it is keywords, rather than a phrase, then it is more likely that others would insert the same word(s) and find your topic.

So, it is OK to give our post the tag(s) with a word which may already given by others. Sometime I found myself difficult to give a word as tag. After read mysdianait comment, I think I should start to tag every post I made. Thank's alot..

They do make your earnings increase.first of all people get to see your discussion through tags,secondly i feel that the mylot owners do like to see a good discussion filled with tags so that it is easy to locate a discussion.

I don't submit tags when responding to others' discussions but I submit as many tags as I can to my own discussion. I feel lazy submitting tags to other discussions. Also, I do submit only one tag when uploading pictures.

Firstly when i'm a novice in this world i didn't use to attach the tag in the discussion or response that made by me. But somebody suggest me to submit the tag in every response or discussion which help in earnings on that date i usually submit the tags and for more details better to go on FAQS..

Yes my friend, You can see me new here. So I think I had an experience like yours before. Maybe I should read FAQs and others discussion more. It began more interesting here. :)

You don't have to submit tag if you don't want to. And there is no increase in your earnings because of it.
The purpose of a tag is so someone can find it easily. For eg, You tagged this discussion as 'Tag' and 'Increase Earning'.....so if someone search for either of those word/phrase, this discussion will come up in the result. If you hadn't tag it, it probably will not come up unless someone specifically search for it in the Text. I hope I make myself clear.

I mean the tags for responding friends discussion. For discussion I started, I always submit a tag, but for responding others I didnt always submit tag. Happy earning.. :)

I submit tag to discussions after I make responses occasionally. Most of discussions which I responded have tagged correctly and I think I don't need to submit tag anymore. Furthermore, I don't like submit tags due to my poor internet connection. If I submit tag, it will take more longer time to proceed and even sometime if failed due to interrupted connection. By the way, submit tag to discussion won't affected to our earning. Our earning pure from our post.

Hi nunubanget!
Honestly I'm not so sure about that. But I love to think that the more applications we use here in myLot the more it would add up to our earning besides being active. As such I would submit tags.
