Making Life Altering Decisions Because of a Man

Earlier, I wrote a discussion about a teen love triangle that went horribly wrong when the two girls fighting over a guy got into a fight and one ended up dead. A teen girl killed another over a boy; now she is a murderer and is on trial. Two lives ruined over a guy.
Then there is a story that hits closer to home for me. A girl I knew in high school moved across the country to be with her boyfriend. Three months after she moves, he decides he doesn't want her anymore and dumps her. Depressed, she decides to commit suicide, leaving her brother a note on facebook about why she did it. That's how I found out, through her brother who called to tell her friends and family about what happened.
Both situations, a girl made a decision because of a boy that resulted in death. It breaks my heart(but especially the girl I knew), both instances had to end this way. It makes me question why. Is it our society? Is it the generation? What makes females so blinded by their "love" for a guy that they will act this way?

That's a horrible thing that a woman can do.. to kill someone or killed herself.. why NOT to think that the RATIO of our society is 10 is to 1... meaning 10 male over 1 female... Goodness LOT'S OF FISH IN THE SEA wherein you can meet or find someone better than that guy !! Just open their eyes !!!!!!!!!!!!

should self know that in any kind of situation that involving emotional upset, bear in mind keep on being positive.
not all matters solved by despair and sadness. I know if in "love" kind of situation kind of impossible for most of the people around to have positive mind to overcome the pain, but keep on having thoughts that future might hold better prospect for us to live is enough to restrain ourselves from being the victim of cruel "love".
