Hey, guys! I'm just wondering, are you a PC or a Mac fan? What do you like most about your PC or your Mac?

The answer depends less on your hardware preference and more on your computing philosophy. From a hardware standpoint, they're about the same. They use many of the same components from the same manufacturers, including processors like those made by Intel, memory, and hard drives. Price isn't the determining factor, either. If you outfit the systems similarity, they cost about the same. The true difference between there system lie in the way the hardware is packed and the software is implemented. If you like a close integration between hardware and software, you're probably a MAC. But if you want the freedom to choose from a wide range of system components, peripherals, and applications, you're most likely a PC.

I'm a PC kind of person. I like Mac's..But I think they're overpriced. And you aren't really paying for the quality of a Mac, but the brand name, you know? Why spend 2000 bucks on a Mac when I can get a PC with more GB, Ram, memory, etc for less? It doesn't make sense to me. Most people don't need a Mac. I'm into graphics and art so some day it's likely I will get a Mac because I've heard programs like photoshop simply "work better" on Mac's. But I dunno how true that is. I'll have to think about it and find out for myself. I love PC's. And I'm so used to them and how Windows works and everything. I'd have to get used to using a Mac which is kind of different and that could be a real hassle.

I am a pc man myself. I prefer PC to mac due to a variety of different reasons, including the fact that to have a pc with the same stats (processing power etc) as a mac is a lot cheaper, you get more programs (especially games) on the pc, and the pc software is just easier to use. I find most people get a mac "because they are cool", as in they look better. Granted, an eMac looks better than a normal PC, but lets face it, im not getting a pc to stick in a room and look at, i want to do things with it!
