I usually read novels when I am not busy. when I read the stories I can hardly put down the book, and continue to read a line and a line, a page and a page. I always keep reading for hours a time. well... I dont read random books. I always pick those of exitingly sense of imagine. by the way, I almost read on line every time.
however, one of my friends reads acadamic books a lot. just do opposite me to read on-line books, he only read real books. and he likes literature very much and collects many known novels like RED AND BLACK.

I enjoy reading from different sources. Novels are my favorite reading. I can get lost in a novel quite easily. Magazines are fun and light reading. They are a good way to pass the time. Academic books are not as fun to read, but the information you gain can be helpful. I never try to turn my back on anything to read. I just never know what may inspire me next.

I like to read novels regarding martial arts. Sometimes, I can spend the whole day reading those books without resting. I also like books concerning my faith and improving my interpersonal skills. However, when I don't find any good books to read, I can go without reading for months.

highly purposiveness. I like martial movies very much. and I read those books online as well(though most of them are fiction). I am always excited by the roles when they think over to overcome the great difficulties.

I am not that much of a reader, but whenever i am boread and got nothing else to actually do, i pick up a novel or magazine. About reading academic books, i think everyone needs to eventually if they need to earn a decent living so its like a necessity while the others are just for leasure.
Cheers!!

Hi chinaman,
I used to read a lot, and I read any ready material that lands on my hand. I like subscription magazines like the Reader's Digest, it's very informative. I still read novels, but not often as I used to when I was younger. These days I get my daily news from the net.

Oh yes, I love reading, so I really read all kinds of stuff: educational books and papers, as well as newspapers, different magazines and novels and fiction. I don't see why one should limit yourself to only one type of reading?

i enjoy reading novels that have romance and action in it. i don't read much of academic books. i get too bored. it's the same with magazines. i get bored easily. i also enjoy reading online novels when i don't have anything to do and i'm really in the mood. but recently, i haven't been reading online novels much as i've been reading manga, watching dramas and animes online and mylotting from time to time, thus do not have much time for online reading.
but reading fiction novels is still the best pasttime for me. i've written about the novels which i've really enjoyed and would love to re-read in the future in a blog specially for it. i've also made one on dramas and mangas hehehe right now, i'm reading dark seduction by brenda joyce. it's a masters of time series and the first book although i've actually read its sequels already, all of them.
i do enjoy learning new things but not from the net as i'm busy doing other things. i like learning about news from the newspaper, the traditional way hehe.

I like to read books that are about true events. I do not like romance novels or anything science fiction. I read a lot of true crime books.

I read pretty much everything, as long as it's interesting to me. I love Newsweek and Time, but I don't buy every issue. I read a lot of novels and I'm trying to read more non-fiction and biographies. The biography I'll be reading soon is Eleanor of Aquitaine. The next biography I'll be buying is Queen Christine of Sweden :)

Actually I do not like reading, but I liked the book. Sometimes I buy books, but never read the books I buy. It's very strange. My mother says, if it does not like to read, do not need to buy books. But I am often interested to buy books and magazines. I often read, is a magazine.

I love reading novels. I know the feeling when you can't the book down to the point that I sometime forget to do things on time. As for academic books, I only read them when I have to, like for school papers. The only instance that I was able to finish an entire academic book (it is about social theories) was when I was writing my thesis.

I like to read novels and magazines. Not much of the academic books since I'm not going to school. I do tend to look at those when my kids are in school to help them with their homework. I just recently got done reading a novel online. It was a really good book, that had me reading non stop into the wee hours of the morning. It took me about 3-4 days to read it. I have noticed books with small print to hurt my eyes and give me headaches. With reading online, I can make the print bigger.

I enjoy a good novel from time to time, but I particularly enjoy non fiction. I have been amazed at the adventures of some real people that I've read about in non fiction books.

Hi! I would say that I am a voracious reader because I love reading any type of reading material -- be it novels, academic books, magazines, newspapers, forums, etc. This is what stimulates me to stay on mylot because I also love the reading part of participating in the discussions. I also like checking out the movie tie in of novels and comparing them because it gives me a sense of the "a-ha" factor if they missed out on this or that part or they did not stick to this storyline among others. By the way, I also like to read a lot because it helps me very much in my freelance writing profession, fyi.
