We are getting married next year and I am a little stuck for what to do for our centrepieces at the reception. The theme for the wedding is purple and I am using cream, ivory, white and lilac roses for my flowers. The tables will be long and rectangular with 5 people on each side (total of 10 at each table) with white table cloths and chair coverings with a dark purple satin sash on each chair. So I have a blank canvas to work with but dont really want to over power with too much purple. Im not sure whether to include roses in the centrepieces or keep it simple with candles and mirrors??

A small touch of purple on the table wouldn't hurt and it will complement the purple sash on the chairs. The lilac roses can be accentuated with little white flowers (I'm not sure which flowers are available in your area)in small flower arrangements just enough for the center aisle of the table and not cover the entire table. Candles will also be great in between flower arrangements.

I would love to have some sort of flowers incorporated in the centrepieces but Im not really sure what kind of flowers go along with roses. I dont want to have any more roses other than the bouquets as they cost too much money.
