Well I think some of the users on mylot have probably lied about their age to be on here since you have to be 16 years or older. What do you think???

I agree some are very childish, I would hope they are of age to be on here. As I wouldn't want to be accused of chatting, or shall I say discussing with a minor. LOL Although I know plenty of adults that are so immature you'd have to wonder also. hehehe...

LOL being accused of discussing with a minor you have a point there. Very tru some adults can also be childish so one never knows who is of age or not.

Indeed there are always Lotters who sign up even though they have not reached the minimum age here. What they don't realise is that myLot admins aint stoopid and sooner or later they get caught and lose their account, including earnings and referrals - what a waste All information when we sign up should be correct. If it isn't then we only have ourselves to blame, no-one else.

Akatsuki every site has its own rules. Kids under 16 are not allowed to register here and should go to other sites where they are allowed - simple! There is no difference between offline and on. You can't drive a car until you reach a certain age. You can't join myLot either!

Yeah the admins are not dumb that's true, but not all of them get caught. Information should always be correct though.

Lol age is just a number, if there's some kid out there who can drive a car better than you, why not let them drive?

Yes some of the responses are child like. True kids do tend to lie because they know that they can get away with that, but oh well I welcome anybody who comes to mylot because it's a wonderful site to be at.

I begrudge no one the opportunity to learn something. I know it has helped me in many ways from learning about different cultures to writing skills and reading. There are many kids who cannot or do not feel comfy with parents to ask things they can find out here. If it keeps one kid from doing something they should not its worth it.Happy My-Lotting to all

Yes! There are many young [specially] mylotters who were younger than the recommended age of joining in myLot. I think they are bit extra ordinary for doing elder stuff. Though earning money online is surely for adults bbut in current age children are earning online money. I have a cousin who is just 12 years old and he is on myLot. He is even better than me in myLot and he has 10 star reputations too. He join myLot as 23 years old! Happy mylotting!

Well there's kids out there that want to make some cash but are unable to because of their age, I don't think it's really a crime to lie about your age to make a few bucks, you not bringing any harm to anybody, just doing watchu gotta do to make that paper lol I bet if there was other ways for people not the apropriate age to make money, they would rather do that then waste their time on this .

you mean there are several underage here or below 16? so if that is true we must be aware of all the topics here anyway, mylot itself is very strict with words.... or unless we do alteration with the spelling....

Any age can learn, and I don't see any content that would cause concern. Some individuals do not know how to use the birthday format...yes, even those over age 18. But then again, why not lie? It seems to be the exception today rather than honesty.

Yes any age can learn everybody has a brain and knows how to use it to gain knowledge. True even those over 18 do not know how to use the birthday format like my mother.

Yes, it happens. But we cannot guess throught their writing. Even im grown up gal, still feel difficult to write english correctly with good grammar. it depends what they're and how they are. any way its interesting to know that in each age, my lotters are here, feel happy for that. And also we can get opinions, thoughts from each age range people. whatever hiding their age or not, if they lie for useful things, then its good. we can encourage it.

Getting thoughts from different age groups is pretty interesting and I pretty much think that mylot is truly for anyone who has a passion for writing. Oh I have noticed that many have trouble with their grammar and english so one really can't tell how old someone is on mylot. Anyway I think that your english is good for a matter of fact.

Hello Anime. I think people lie to get on most sites where you have to give your age. I've seen some responses on here that look like they came from really young people and they type like they're writing a text so I think they might have told porky pies about their age :)

Why hello again AutumnGold so they lie to get on sites that require for someone to have a certain age. Oh yes and some on mylot write really short comments or maybe everyone does that not really sure.

It is ok if people will lie about their age here in this site because there is no harm being done to other people unless they will now have something mutual going on from here. It's not really on myLot you will actually encounter people who will lie about their age. they will tell you that they are 10 years younger than what their actual age is. So lying about your age doesn't really matter as long as what you post here as a discussion and your comments does not hurt anyone in any manner.

I had seen people lieing while chating online but its not very good to lie.Telling truth will never hamper us rather it can be good for the close friends.I don't think by telling lie he or she will become younger.Rather it will let us to create misunderstand among the friends and other peoples.I hate people telling lie when it comes to age.
