Prayer is my most powerful distress and anger relief. If in distress and angry it is hard for me to sleep. I need to pray and ask God's help to overcome so that I could get the necessary comfort and right there and then could I only go to sleep for the much needed rest of mind and spirit.

Yeah right. There is this one time that happened to me when I'm very angry to my sister because there is a thing that I borrowed and she refused. I prayed and I'm amazed when she give me that thing. Prayer is really powerful.

Day time I will take a walk, and I dont realize how much I walked and at the end of it I feel calm and come back home with a peace of mind.
Night I tell my prayer Bismillahir Rahumanir Rahim and this gives me coolness to my mind and I fall asleep.

Yes, sleeping releieves anger and distress. I also let myself be submerged into positive thoughts. I also ask help from God and call Him to help me take away my negativity.

Hello
I just can't sleep if i am distreed or in anger, my bp goes high usually, so for me the best resort is to move to a vacant room in my home, or to some far lonely place and pray and recite some devotional song, it works..

This is just the opposite reaction for me. When i am angry or distressed, the last thing i could do was sleep. My nerves would be too churned up for sleep to ever come. I would have to rid myself of my anger or distress some other way.Doing something tranquil and peaceful is what I would need for this.

Just recently I cried because of my anger to my colleague, that even some of my officemates saw it.Walked out of the room then cried heavily in a corner. Then I called my friends and love ones, who gave me some advice and comforting words. Eventually I was okay after.

I can't sleep when I am in deep distress and anger. I feel like breaking something and if only I does that than I get satisfied and than I go to sleep. If I could not find anything to break than I hold it myself tight and think about good things happened to me but it hardly works.

When I am stressed, I do various things are per the location. If I am stressed out in the office, then I go for breaks and drink coffee or go to the recreation room and play pool, watch movie. When I am at home, I go to shower as it helps me to keep my head cool. After shower I feel refreshed. Sometimes I also listen to music, that helps me forget about my stress.
