Always! I just went for a full check up a couple of weeks ago and had an abnormal EKG. I had to go get an ultrasound on my heart and I was so scared. I thought well...this is it...to many years of good health for it to continue. I think they could stand to let people know a little quicker than what they do about these type of results. I got the call yesturday and thank goodness there was nothing wrong but it made me sick waiting to see. I hope your results come back good syankee. You've had enough.

Yes, I am always afraid, when I want to know the results of the examination from the doctor. I was always afraid, if my body was having problems and not in good condition. I always hope to be doing well, but surely every body has a problem, but I always hoped that if I not in good condition, I could soon be able to recover, I really hope if I get sick, my illness is not severe disease.

dear syankee,
i am scared when i find bad results after a test, not before. but i welcome the knowledge, because that way i can prevent it from getting worse because i will know the right medicine to take, and the food to avoid.
i pray that the next result will be negative hence like me, you will be able to avoid food not suited to be eaten and of course, the correct prescription is given.
all the best for you.

Just keep on doing what your doctor says, it is better to prevent the incoming diseases that to cure it. I know it is really scarring, but you have to face the current situation, the more you give an attention to this, the more you can have a peace of mind rather than you ignore it but in the back of your mind you really eager to know what is happening in you right,. . . . Ok friend Go. . . discover what is really happening in you .seek for the right medicine. Good luck.

keep your cool. Everything will be fine, don't get too worked up because you'll get paranoid, and you'll eventually be sick. Psychologically, the more you think about it the more that it's happening. Just relax and stay positive. You'll never know, it might be a false alarm?
God bless (",)

It is really a bit scary every time your doctor tells you to go to a laboratory to do some blood work. When its time to submit the result to my doctor, it took me days before I actually see him. And while reading the result, my heart is pounding fast worrying much about what he is going to reveal. I won't be okay until he said I am alright and not to worry. And that's the time my heart will settle to normal.

Yes, I have been scared, too. I had cancer, 18 years ago, but I am still here, alive and kicking. I do not think that any of us would not feel some fear when results from medical tests are not as we had hoped.
I generally try my best to find natural ways to help me so I do not have to go on medications, that many times, have worse side affects than the disease.

Sometimes the thought that we might be having health troubles are scary enough. We often search for a physician's help when we feel that something ain't right about our body or state of being as a whole. I think that being scared is a normal reaction especially when we are really anticipating and contemplating a very big health issues.
Don't worry too much, dear. Just believe that you'll get through all the bad stuff you are going through right now. Just remain positive and hopeful.;-)
God bless you, Syankee.;-)

Hello syankee525,
yes, I do get scared before each test that a doctors prescribe or blood work.
I always worry they will find something seriously wrong with me. Knock on wood my blood has come back negative but I know one that will change.
Even going to the doctors I feel nervous thinking they will find something wrogn with me. My family always had issues with the doctors or something was wrong especailly when you are raising 9 children back in the 1970's etc...
Thanks and Good Luck on test on your liver... I hope evertyhig goes well for you.
Have a great day!
Sincerely Unique16
