Hello folks, I've returned and I got a good topic for all you MyLotters. I've been working-out again since I last 6 months ago and I've been feeling super. Give out your thoughts about going and working-out in a gym? Thanks!!

I totally agree that working out and sweating out regularly is really healthy for us and it keeps the stress level at bay. I think it is ideal to have a frequency of 3 times a week.

It's also important to have fun while working out for it is one of the ways to motivate you to keep on working out.

actually, i haven't been on a gym before because first i can't afford it cause i'm still a student and going to those places will just add burden to my parents when in terms of money. An now that i have already a son i can no longer find time to do so cause all i do from morning till night is to take care of my baby..i would really want to go to a gym especially now that i've gained so much weight..but i guess it'll have to be next time..i hope it'll be soon...=)

I never work out in a gym. I used to go to my schools gym at lunchtime occasianly, but obviously i dont go to school anymore. I tend to find it really difficult to motivate myself to work out in a gym, i would rather just play a game of football or something like that for exercise.

Wow, a football player! I would suggest that work on your legs by building a good muscle mass, it'll make you run faster.

Last year about this time I worked out in a gym everyday. I had a trainer and was well on my way to losing alot of weight. Then I had a emotional experience that flew me into a down spiral into a deep depression which I am just now coming out of. So, now I have gained back the weight plus some. I am still trying but not sure when I will have a trainer again.

The gym is good specially if you have proper habit at it. It's better to have a trainer around to advise you on what to do. hehee. It's nice to stretch some sleepy muscles at the gym.

i can give you some advices to reach your fitness goal if you can give me your attainable fitness goal, mind also your diet when you are working out and dont' stay to much in the gym 45-60 min. is enough, more than that will hurt your testoseterone which we all know it helps our muscle grow..

Excellent stuff, if it feels good for you, please continue that lane. I would encourage moderate work out that I think is sustainable.

I used to work out regularly in the gym.But for the past 4 years or so i bought a tread mill and a cycle. As soon as i'm up in the morning i do stretching exercises for about 15 minutes. Then i do the treadmill and bike for half an hour. This makes me feel fresh throughout the day.In the evening i take my dog out for a walk for about 20 minutes.I feel this schedule serves me fine.

I do not like the gymnasia, I never met to doing exercise, you nor machinate, not anything of what exists in a gymnasium. That is very good the physical activity for the health, always I did some sport, nowadays I am training 5 times a week, 3 days I am going to swim and the 2 remaining ones to run, mas the whole complementary routine of exercises.

I don't use a gym as I have never been one to take exercise for it's own sake. I cycle to work some of the time. Otherwise, my shifts are too long to consider any other activity besides work on those days.
