Are you a good employee?

We will test ourselves with these charateristics of a good employee:
* Always dependable
* they are team player
* know how to take directions
* Can be trusted
* Participate the day to day life in the office
* gets along with the other employees
* good working skills
* tact and decorum
* great attitude
Based on the list above, are you a good employee? i am both and bad.. LOL!

- I am dependable but see to that someone doesn't take advantage over me.
- I am a team player but make sure that I don't work on others behalf as everyone
must be accountable for their own work.
- I know how to take direction but only from my superior.
- I can be trusted when it comes to my work.
- I do participate in day to day life in the office.
- I get along with other employee after office hour.
- I have good working skills and maintain my decorum in the office.
- Apart from these I come to office on time and if stay overtime if my work demand.
I think I am a good employee.

Yes ashton i highly agree you are one good employee. You will your company's asset.You are the type of person a company needed most. and that is true we must not let others to advantage on us.

I am a great employee!! I do everything that is expected of me and more. Now, with all that being said, anyone can be a great employee. The questions is, what makes me a great employee? The answer is simple..Find something you love doing, something you have a passion for and do it!! When you do something you love, you will put your heart and soul into it and you will never feel like you are working, because it's not just your job, it's your "career!"

Not that bad i guess JKL as long as you're hadn't fired you yet. Even those who are fired doesn't mean they are bad. LOL! And as to haunting? Hmmmm there are feelings like that sometimes. There are times that the moments flashes back toour mind and we can say it to ourselves, it would be better if i do this, i do that and will make you feel uncomfortable.

I am a spectacularly bad employee and so far am feeling very little shame about that. However, I imagine that after college this identity as a poor employee may well one day come to haunt me and that, I suppose would not be a very pleasent experience at all. Hey ho, at least I'm not the worst employee ever to have walked the earth. But a poor employee nonetheless, alas.

I am a good employee because I am following the company rules perfectly and I am going office regularly .I am not keeping the work for tomorrow as I am up to date.Some time I usually coordinate the team work without asking the helps from employee.

Ya I am a good employee because we are working for a company that has a motto or standard that we are comfortable with, and if the company goal is something we believe in. If we are working for an honorable establishment, then we will treated with respect due to our position.

Hmmmm every organization, establishment, institutions or whatever workplace or offices have its own motto, mission, vision or whatever they prefer to call it. It is the company's core reason for its existence. Is there such an establishment that is not honorable? Well maybe for other people's point of view but Im sure if other's think you are not honorable but within yourself you know you are. And as to the respect no matter what position you are holding to if you dont know how to respect others then dont expect them to respect you. Cheers pwnson

Cheers kshp, I assumed that your task is not that of the others, including mine. What do you really mean by keep the half work for tomorrow? In our part we have no choice but to leave it there for the next day or we might be staying in the office day and night LOL...What i did is that for this week i set targets, these are the things that should be done for monday and so on. If i happen to finish it before the end of the day i started for the task that was scheduled for the next day, Why? because i am working for a project that will take me a half a year or less at least few months to deploy it..

hi wong, There's no problem if you dont work overtime. We are not obliged to do so. Only if you are willing to do it, your boss might want to give you additional pay for that or you can render the so calledlabor of love.
