Do you pee a lot in a day?

I really do, especially if the temp. is cold and I drink a lot of fluids. Sometimes I hate it that I cannot make it to the restroom, yes, I pee on my shorts when I'm at home. I can't hold on my pee longer, I don't know, maybe something to do with my urinary system or something. I heard that if you pee a lot in a day, you might have a diabetes, which I thank god I don't. How 'bout you people?

I think you better get yourself checked up with a qualified Doctor for your problem, as you pee in sorts too, sometimes. It is advisable that you should not withhold the pressure and release it at the earliest. Withholding the pressure may lead to trouble. I do not count, how many times I pee, it depends upon weather and intake of fluids.

Hi again Laniekins, Just a thought, have you ever concidered wearing plastic panties? they work great at keeping the pee hidden when you have an accident, you can also let just a little pee into the pants and stop, then a bit more to take the pressure off, then you can wait longer to get into the washroom to finish, and plastic pants are very easy to clean and dry for quick reuse. Many Blessings.

Thanks for the tip, I haven't use that, I don't know it is available here. I only know disposable panty and adult diaper. I don't know if I am comfortable in wearing that. I'd like to try that soon! Anyways, thanks again for the tip, you are really nice.

I htink i do. I have even mentioned it a doctors appointments. But they never ask anything more. Once i was working with a lady in her last trimester of pregnancy. I was going to the bathroom almost as often as she was. To me that dont sound normal. Ive been checked for diabetes but im not.

No they didnt and i have mentioned this to a couple of different doctors over the last few years and they act like they never heard me. I have been checked for diabetes but it wasnt because of my telling them that it was during a regular physical which i didnt mention it. Any way i would rather not be put on medicines for that.

So the doctor did not ask you to undergo any medical test?

I think the reason you pee a lot is because you drink a lot of fluids. When you intake fluids, of course it has to go out and it can only do it in two ways - by your sweat or by peeing. You need to make sure that when you feel like you need to pee, you have to go because you will damage your kidneys if you keep on holding it. Be careful.

If you are suspecting health problems I would suggest you to consult a doctor instead of doing an online self examination. It is tempting with today's age. I guess it depends a lot on your fluids intake. For example its about 30+ in my country so I am drinking a lot of water. So it is understandably that I go to the loo quite often

I wouldn't say I do all that much. Probably around 5-6 times a day but I don't feel the urge to go often, my wife is the opposite and when we're out she generally always goes more so than she would if we was at home. It's very annoying when I do though, as I dislike spending so much time going to the toilet. I'm thankful for avoiding visiting as it gives me more time doing better things. LOL

Every 30 mins? do you drink a lot of water. Just to make sure, if you want you consult your doctor or have a diabetes test. Can't imagine those working in a store in the mall, they were all alone and they can't just leave their small store. Will that mean that they pee only twice a day?

I do urinate a lot. I have been diagnosed with a spastic bladder. I have tried all kinds of medicines and the one I am on now, is the best, but I still get up about 2 or 3 times a night. You should go see a doctor, you might not be diabetic, but there may be something else wrong.

Oh my, might have a problem inside. I haven't raise it to my doctor, I just finish my check up from my tummy problem so I will have too rest for the financial dilemma. If I'm financially and emotionally ready, I will see a doctor. Thanks!

Women who can't hold their pee must have the muscles around the urinary bladder not so strong as should be. Also due to this lack, the uterus may be lowered and press the urinary bladder. A good exercise to practice for these muscles is to stop the pee for a few seconds more times and then tel it go. In case of men, they must be careful about their prostate! But I think in general is more dangerous for health not to pee than to pee a lot!

Peeing a lot during cold weather does happen but am concerned about the fact that you are not able to hold urine.I think you should see the Doctor soonest possible. get checked on Urinary issues and diabetes too. Lets hope you don't have any of these.

Maybe it depends on the body system of the person. Most of the respondent here says they pee a lot and some are don't. Atleast I can hear from you guys.

only if I consumed to much vitamin c, or am dehydrated, or drank to much fluids, or am sick .. from something.. otherwise things are usually normal on my end.. I am one of the lucky ones that usually do not have to go a lot in general...

Hi, laniekins. I don't pee a lot in the day time. I drink a lot but I don't have to go to the bathroom right away. When I was pregnant all I did was use the bathroom. I was so miserable then!

Hi,laniekins! I don't pee a lot in a day unless I drink a lot of water. It is a little weird that I don't pee often when I am living in my dorm. But when I get back home,I always go to the bathroom.Maybe I just sit in front of my laptop so I don't consume a lot of water while in school I have to move around. Have a nice day!

I think when we are so busy, we seldom fee to urinate. But when we are not that busy, we feel to use the cr or feel a pain in our body.

Only during cold season. But during hot season or summer i only pee once or just twice a day even if drink a lot of water. Maybe because i sweat a lot when its hot.
