Eat right to live right,A healthy condition of body cannot attain by chances,it needs a lot of discipline. Stop the term diet, instead introduce the word "eat right".Eat the right food. Stop the old saying don't eat that or don't eat this. Now,the best thing to do is to know what are the right food that you should eat, the right amount or servings and how often it must be eaten.Better we can called it "eating with a common sense". But how much calorie we should take, do we have a formula to attain a right amount of calories. We can get calories from the following food. - grain, pasta. fruits and vegetable. - 60% - Protein,meat.fish. seafood - 15% -fats, dairy product, sugar - 25% Do you have your own percentage?

I have read an article saying the very opposite thing we are believing this days about our diet. The known wway was to count calories to reduce our body fat. But this article says NO! do not count CALORIES why? Because you will end up frustrated and possibly eating more. Hehehe.. Counting calorie intake needs constant attention. Which most of us dont have the time to do. The article said that we only need to eat SLOWLY chew the food, and after 20 mins we will feel stuffed, tricking our mind that we are full. hEhehehe

Yeah it can be frustrating but i do count my calories and it helped me a lot cause it made me realized that I'm taking in too much but lacking in vitamins and minerals. Been doing it for a month. Eating slowly is also a good habit but since people are always in a hurry to do things and usually multitask they sometimes tend to over eat and doesn't even notice it.

Most recommend 2000 calories a day but this depends on your requirement that was just a generalized amount. What I only did is to take as much as calorie each day and don't care much of the distribution on what to eat and what not, the only thing that I keep in mind is to avoid as many fats as possible or the bad cholesterol as to speak. But when I am exercising, I do eat more protein after each regimen so I could rebuild the lost muscles.

I eat approximately 1800 calories a day, and I don't follow any specific macro equation, although I do try to keep my fat intake less than 30%. I know some follow a higher fat percentage, but not me..the less fat the better. I also try to keep my carbs at or below 40%. I like the word "eat right" along with "healthy lifestle!" Each individual is different in theri caloric intake and what will work for them.
