Yes a boy and a girl can be friends. My friends are all boys. I like to be with boys because boys will stay in their own world where as girls they are always talking about others and I really hate these things. My parents knows about our relationship and yes they are not happy with it but they are not telling to me. Yes they do give reasons and the reason is that they are afraid that I may smoke,drink, etc

Yes, boys and girls can be friends! My kids have friends that are boys and girls and I think it is okay. I had both girl friends and guy friends. Guy friends can give advice on "guys" better than the "girls" just for the obvious reason is that they are a guy themselves. Would I let a "guy" friend spend the night with my daughter? Um, no. As a group, I would find it more allowable.

Of course boy and girl can be friend. My parents do like me to have mix of friends. I'm not really sure why some of the parents do not accept the friendship between boy and girl, maybe they just don't want their son or daughter get too close with their friend with different gender, especially for girls..they might think that guys are danger..but I seldom heard of that. Now people getting open-minded and it's nothing wrong to have a normal friends

Of course boys and girls can be friends. Some parents can be overprotective of their children, but it's usually just because they care about them and don't want them getting hurt.

Yes a boy and a girl can be friends. Why not? I have male friends and I'm happy with them. Although I can't bring them over to my house because then my dad will get mad.

I believe in platonic friendship. I was lucky to be blessed with a good male friend.
