Hi, do you believe in the saying "Those who can't do teach, those who can't teach, teach gym?" I first heard this on a movie starring Jack Black called the School of rock, it's a really funny movie if you haven't already you ought to check that out, but later i have been hearing other people say that to, i actually gave it some thought and i think it's true, some teachers have really a passion for their job just like any professional out there, but i think some teachers are just frustrated people who couldn't be a scientist for example and became a science teacher, and some PE teachers just became PE teachers because they had no other choice, even though PE is hard, it has a lot more theory than you can imagine, Do you believe the saying is true? if so why? Have you actually met a teacher who you think fits that saying?

I think one has to be able to "do" before they are able to "teach!" You can't teach something you don't know.

I disagree, for example: Grab a scientist, and a science teacher, the scientis will know a lot more than the science teacher, and it requires better grades to be a scientist in whichever area you might chose than to actually be a science teacher
