Have you guys played cricket with other college/school guys..?

First I'm happy that India didn't lose the second test match..Congrats to our team..Hope , they will give the best in the final match.. Now, coming to the topic .. have you people played cricket matches with other group of guys whom you never met before or other college guys something like that..? Two weeks before we played with other college guys..We won one match and we lost another..We just played in tennis ball but it is a bowling match..We had a little fight too..But nothing went wrong..Next week too we are having a match with same guys.. Here in our area they will conduct tournament but our never team participated..I'm eagerly waiting to play a tournament.. I'm not gifted to be a part of my Indian team and play for my country..But I need to play at least for my small area.. Have you guys have team with your nearby friends..Have you played tournaments or with other college guys..? Happy mylotting

Here in chennai, playing cricket is common with other teams.. It's the best game which requires minimum items for playing the game and it involves more men.. I always play with my team with other teams.. We have our uniformed jersey for our team and my number is 7...

I have played a lot of tournaments during my college days. Even now I play quite a few corporate tournaments, against other teams. So I am more or less very much used to playing with other teams. Cheers! Ram

I like to watch cricket during the time when I was in Saudi Arabia. It is an interesting game. I wish this can be considered and be included in the sports being played here in the Philippines in the near future.

We used to play with the other teams in our locality.there used to be one heck of a ground in the middle of our city...we used to play matches in there every sunday despite of us playing against each other at the college level.the former were informal matches though.we never had any fights except few arguments over the run outs.its been almost three years since we have visited that ground heard that it has been modified to be a sports center--- it would be so fun to win matches over new guys.hope india would win the last test and level the series.great day.

i played with friends thats back in 1991,1992 after that i only watch cricket as we all moved apart and live in different city, i like cricket... you Vijay fan, I like him too, he is a great actor just like Rajni

Yes i did play cricket for my school team. But i was the middle order batsman. Later when i moved to Mumbai, i did play for a tean called the Mumbai Warriors. We used to have a match every sunday and i was the main spinner for the team and a middle order batsman.

Oh, thats good..We too play matches every Sunday but not tournaments but simple match with our friends in the nearby ground..I used to open the batting order for my team.. Thanks for sharing..

In our country cricket is a passion and it was no different for me during my schooldays.We used to play cricket in our building, on the streets and in the maidans.All this ofcourse whith a tennis ball. I think we must have played thousands of matches during our childhood and we enjoyed every bit of it. Our heroes i those days were Vijay Manjrekar, Chandu Borde, Rusi Surti, Sharad Diwadkar, Madhav Mantri, Farokh Engineer etc. After school i did not play any cricket.However when i went to Muscat in the 80`s we played against a Sri Lankan team using tennis balls. The Lankans won but cheated openly. Since it wasn`t a tournament we did not make any protest but were shocked at the daring and devilry of our opponents who wanted to win at any cost.

I used to play cricket in my school days ,i prefer to bat . my kind of play is simailar to Dravid , when the wickets are falling i used to give good stand and if the opposite bats man is very capable, i used to take a single and used to give strike to my friend. so he used to score more and finally we used to keep good score to the opposite team. though i score less i am in a part of many partnerships.

Hiya Gany, It´s the fun you have playing a game like Cricket or any other that counts sharing fun with your Friends is a great thing. My Son has played Football in a Team with his Friends and has a Cup to show that they won one Season. He still plays every so often but now he is more into Mountain Hiking and all that. My Husband used to play Cricket and has a big scar on the shin of his leg to show for it too. Even if you scrap with each other you still end up Friends because a Game is a Game whatever sport it is.
