Do you think Lindsay Lohan needs to be in rehab?

Her doctor and the jury said so, and I think they know better that we are, so better for her to do that rehabilitation, it's for her own good also. She is a good actress but not a good citizen. If she will debate about her being as a good citizen then better yet prove it in court. Try looking at the life of Drew Barrymore. She was once a Lindsay Lohan, but look at her now. She is one of the respected Hollywood actress of her generation. There is still time for Lindsay. Her prison time it just short, and it is not the end of her world.

I think its getting riduclous with these so called celebrities breaking the law, and not then getting a proper punishment. Remember when Paris Hilton got sent to jail? She was out in a week or something like that as "she didn't mix with the inmates" or some rubbish like this. I think celebrities need to stop getting away with stuff, and start paying punishment for there wrongs. Just because they star in a film, or a music video doesn't mean they are immune to the law!

I'm not sure that rehab will work for Lindsay. The problem is that SHE isn't ready to accept that she has a problem. She gets sentenced. Inevitably, it gets commuted or she gets the typical slap on the wrist that celebrities get and once the punishment is over, she is back to the same old group of friends and the same old partying. Lindsay doesn't want to change and until she does, she won't.

I think she needs a rehab for sure, and after that she is an adult and need to look inside of her and find her value, her self esteem cause he haven't any. You can see how insecure she is even by looking in her eyes. She needs outside help but most of the work have to come from inside. Breaking up with her ex just destroyed here. She just didn't get up yet, but that comes from problems with her father, working since she was a child and etc.

Regardless of whether she was doing charity work or not, at the end of the day she is just another person, and she needs to abide to the quite leniant rules that were in place for her, regardless of work commitments. She knew about these dates, and obviously knew she was getting off lightly to begin with, so she only has herself to blame. The judge has the right idea because now maybe the next "A lister" who thinks they will get preferential treatment might think twice about skipping out on their classes. She's managed to get herself quite a celebrity status for actually not really doing very much, so maybe she needs to learn to how lucky she is with her very light charge (which we all know she won't serve in full) and stop whining about it! I love Lindsay Lohan. I hope she will be okey :)

She is in denial stage. The Kubler-Ross theory showed five stages for a person to recover fully, from being in a state of depression. She really needs help and rehabilitation will be the best center for her to realize that she's a mess.

Oh yes, she needs to be in rehab. I would think she belongs in a more stripped down place than the rehabs that most celebs go to. I don't think she needs to go to a place with gourmet food and pedicures. It would do her good to get down to the bare essentials. Rehab might not work for her, but it is defnitely where she belongs.

Of course the girl has a problem; it’s pretty clear to me! I’ve never been to a rehab centre but I am told that the treatment doesn’t work unless the person really wants the help and can admit they have a serious problem which up until now Lindsay has not done. I heard on the radio this morning that her father said that Lindsay finally ‘gets it’ and is ready for rehab. I hope so for her sake. I went through psychological therapy not too long ago and it was not the first time for me; it wasn’t until I admitted that I did need to talk to someone and that I could not solve all my own problems that my therapy proved to be extremely helpful. Let’s hope Lindsay really has ‘got it’!

Certainly she needs to be in rehab in my opinion.As she got reputation in a very little age,she didn't get appropriate education from her parents.I think her parents only want her to earn money for them,they consider Lindsay Lohan as a huge Cash Cow.Thus Lindsay hasn't got eought love and care from them and she finally got lost. There is still someone declaring her without any problem?! It is so ridiculous,I believe they are exactly her fanatics.I understand it because extreme love always brings us into blindness. Just imagine the situation:If a common person commited such crime that Lindsay has done,then is there still someone say that he/she shouldn't be punished and get rehab? It is absolutely absurd!

YEs i think she should go for rehab.But looking at her altitude it will be a long process. Going to rehab is important because i think her career is going to the toilet bowl and drain because she is not committed to her career.Just doing some photo shots to survive her lifestyle is not enought.She need more movies. She is basically is out of control .

No I think she should have been kept in jail for the whole time just like any other non famous person would have been if they had done what she had done. I think rehab will just pamper her problems whereas jail would cure her of it and teach her a lesson that she would have no choice but to learn.

She really needs a rehab. Not admitting her problem means she's in denial. That's one sign of a psychiatric/mental illness. And for those who says she doesn't need one, they too should go to rehab.

Hi, BStuff. From what I have heard about her personally, I think that she does need to go to rehab. How she handles herself while she is there, is up to her. Just knowing about all of the drama that went on with her and her lesbian girlfriend, I think that she needs rehab. She has really changed quite a bit from the time that she was a celebrity up until now.

Hi Bstuff, I have always enjoy seeing Lindsay Lohan in the movies, I can watch the "Parent Trap" over and over again, so I am really sorry that she is in so much pain and that the Paparazzi has a field day with her situation. For sure, rehabilitation is where she needs to be. I think if she doesn't want to go she should have a family intervention and force her to look at all the people, including herself,that she is hurting. I sure she already knows this, so I am disappointed in her behavior. One thing is for sure, she can't keep spiraling out of control before there will be no come back. We are all hoping that doesn't happen.

I thinks she needs to get a grip of herself, before it's too late, she's already on the slippery slope downhilll and her reputation is in tatters, soon she's going to be unable to get an acting job and her then problems will magnify.

linsey has a problem but most other famous people do to. and u dont hear about them going to rehab.when u got money no one cares what u do really

From what i saw on the news today, she isn't going solely for rehab, she's going for help for psychological problems. I think she probably needs that, if not the rehab. I assumed the rehab was just standard court protocol for repeated drunk driving. Maybe she doesn't need detox, maybe she just needs a good spanking.
