How do you overcome stress, sadness, anger or other negative feelings?

Usually when I have one or more of these negative feelings I prefer to stay alone and then I usually have a good sleep. After I wake up I am almost "new" and I recover from the negative feelings and usually I become a smiley and happy person.

Since I am very short temper person,I get angry very fast and also forgets very first.I never keeps bad feelings in mind.so,whenever I feel stress,sad or angry,I prefer to stay alone and listen to good music.By staying alone and listening to music I am able to forget all this negative feelings.

Good for you that you manage to overcome negative feeling so quickly. I am able too, but no so fast.

I overcome this emotion in different way.If I like to watch movies I go for it for a while.If that is not enough then I will try all the thing I read,listen music and even I prefer to go for work.Most of the time I will go to river side to refresh my anger.I get angry very fast but I will forget very fast.Again I will be happy person .

Whenever I feel stressed out or sad or angry, I take deep breaths and try to think of happy thoughts. Sometimes I just clear my head of those unhappy things and just try to leave my mind blank as much as possible because the more you entertain bad thoughts, the more you'll be angry. There are times when I go to a spa for a massage, or shop, or watch movies or DVD movies at home, or simply be with my good friends.

Typically deep breathes, music, praying and this wonderful little natural herb called St. Johns Worts. They always make me feel so much better. Or going on websites and reading stories about people worst off then me. That helps a lot too. You never know how good you got it until you see the other side of the bridge.

I overcome these emotions in many different ways. Like if I feel like talking to someone, i would choose a friend who can give a very good advise. And if I feel like i want a shoulder to lean on, i go to a very close friend who's ready to ruin his/her shirt from my tears. But most of the time, i would say, i just stay in one corner, take a deep breath and ask for God's guidance.

There are many ways of overcoming saddness, stress and negative feelings and it just depends on the circumstances surrounding these feelings. A nap does it for me too but then after a bit I get these feelings back if the circumstances have not subsided. I also find that going for a walk releases stress and keeps me therapeutically wondering while I walk.

i overcome it by shouting it all out load.. then singing a happy song.. and being with other people really help a lot.. i dont prefer to stay alone coz bitterness still overcome me when im alone.. ^_^
