Actually i tried both, but maybe you could give me some tips. And which would you prefer walk-in or online application? Sometimes I see on the ad online applications will be given priorities but I am skeptical with that.

Both are sure ways of applying for a job. But for me walk-in application is faster. Most companies now try to complete the application process in a day. If the office is near your area then I suggest doing a walk-in. If it's far, try to schedule it and apply in more than one company.

In my case with call center I always do walk-in, with bigger companies its always online application. I sometimes wonder if i could just barge in to coca-cola or other corporation with out an appointment?? So far I've always done it through appointment.

hi romzz, Im not sure if those online applications really are being prioritized. I have also tried both but i prefer walk-in applications. It is so because most of my walk-in applications are given more attention and that in just one day i get to do all the required exams for that certain company. Although I would say that online applications are more convenient and are less costly, there might also be possibilities that you might not be able to know where exactly the location of the company is despite the presence of maps and directions. I have been lost one time because i applied online and with the map and direction on hand i still got lost..so it was an experience. i never did tried applying online if im not sure where the exact location of the company is :D

depends on the place, or the country you are in. in Philippines, Manila most people here especially the job hunters, they have an online account from jobstreet.com and quite a lot of applications have been successful. i'd say you need to know first where you want to apply, get to know if they have available or vacant positions by chcking their websites, or job postings...

Nowadays I only apply online since most do not even acknowledge your application. Too many people competing for the same jobs.
