facebook ads

I really hate it when someone sends me an advertisement using my facebook, I thought its not permitted there? Sometimes they always tag me in a picture of a dress or something that they sell. Maybe It was my mistake because I confirm them as my friend. But I have a question, can they be punished for it, its a form of advertisement and it is against the facebook tos. Am I right?

That's never happened to me on Facebook before.. If it's people you don't know you could just delete them. I wouldn't want strangers creeping my facebook anyway.

You can untag your profile in the photos, or better remind people in your account to stop tagging you, in that way they will no longer tag you.It's their way to market busines

i also don't like it, but c'est la vie. maybe they do that for some earnings, too. =)
