I go the the comics page first

It has always been my habit to go the the comics page first whenever I read I newspaper. It is extremely rare for me to read the front page first. Which part of the newspaper do you read first?

Depends on the paper. If it's the Metro I'm reading then i'll go straight to the horoscopes, otherwise I'll look over the whole thing briefly on my way to the puzzle pages.

In our place most newspapers group these three (including comics) in the same page. And yes, I'm crazy about crossword puzzles, so after reading the comic strips, it's crosswords next :)

I'm glad there are others like me who like the fun stuff first :) Sometimes that headlines are too depressing to start your day with...

Well, I also love the comics page but I read the newspaper from front to back. i always start by reading the headlines and then, the news, and so on.

Hi! Yes, I guess a lot of people do that - it's more organized that way. I have a confession - I do not always read the news. Sometimes, I go to the comics page, see the headlines, go to some other interesting article in the lifestyle page and that's it! And so, most of the time I am an uninformed individual

For myself, i will read the headlines first as i want to see if there are some sensational news. but of course, i like reading comics very much.

Oooh sensational news... Actually, sometimes, people are lured to buy a newspaper (those who do not buy them everyday as a habit)by the headline. Thanks for your response!

I always read the front page first . Then, the entertainment section . When I was twelve , the comic page is the only part that I read .

Oh yeah, i forgot the entertainment section. But, for me, the comics page still wins. I guess the kid in me never grew up!

Same goes for me. :) Then I go to the Lifestyle page, then put the paper down. Haha! ;)
Actually, I'm not so fond of reading the newspaper, because I hate bad news the most. I think it just adds up to your stress. Maybe "headline" reading is ok (I should get up-to-date at least), but reading every single detail of an article that outlines a bad event sucks the life outta you. Or it's just that the saying, "Bad news is good news" stuck with me.

Yes, hahah, headline reading - I do it, too. It would take a really interesting story for me before I read the entire news under the headlines. I just rely on TV.
