how important is facebook to you?

Not very important. I just use it every once in a while to see what is going on with my friends, and sometimes I send messages to my friends on Facebook. But if I did not have Facebook, I would probably send mails instead. So I could do without Facebook, really.

I would not say Facebook is overly important to me, although I do seem to be using it more and more everyday. I very rarely post anything thats happening in my life on the wall, I tend to use Facebook more for keeping in contact with family and friends, oh, and playing the games If Facebook closed today it would not be the end of the world but it is handy to have and use. I have a Facebook account, I check it every now and then, but it's not the end all and be all of my life. Sometimes I chat with friends who live far away through Facebook because I know they're online. Sometimes I post stuff on my wall, things I want to share to friends. Basically I enjoy doing stuff on Facebook but not to the extent that it already rules my life. I still enjoy the things in the real world, so to speak.

Social networks are good to be get touch with the friends. i have got a lot satisfaction from the social networking sites but i usually don't use facebook rather i use orkut.

i enjoy facebook because my family and friends are all on facebook and you can make new friends and find old friends.

Facebook is very important to me because that is how I keep in contact with most of my friends and family. Without Facebook, it would be very hard to keep in contact with my family members.

For me now yes it is important. It keeps me in touch with people I know and care about, as well as latest updates about them. I am also marketing through facebook. And you'll be surprised that almost all of my target clients are there. It is truly very convenient.

I do not spend alot of time on facebook.The only thing that i go on there for is just to see if a friend has left me an inbox.A few years back when facebook was all new, i went on there alot more,but it seems to be the same thing day in day out,so i am bored of it.I prefer to be on here.There are alot of people on there that tend to back stab aswell,so best off not going on there.

I think I could be one of your friends...lol. I wouldn't say facebook was so important to me. About a year ago when I first started using facebook I was searching for family and then found a lot of family that I never knew existed...after that some friends introduced me to the online games and all that, and I got addicted to facebook. I'd live if facebook shut down tomorrow...I may twitch a little or go threw some kind of withdrawals but there are times where I say I am only going to play for an hour and I look up and 3 or 4 hours have gone by. Facebook is definately more of a distraction than of any use to me. If there was a support group for facebook addicts I should be one of the ones on the first row. I share certain things with certain people, I don't broadcast everything I think is so cool etc. I mostly play the games on there, or talk to friends and family I haven't seen in a long time or don't get to see everyday. I've been trying to ween myself off of it, because there is so much more to life than facebook sheesh...smh Have a great weekend! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share :)

Well for me facebook is not really important to me because I don't go there a lot I go on myspace more, but yeah some people just love facebook so that they can connect with their friends and family so it's good that they can do. Many people have different uses for it. Well great discussion really enjoyed responding to it.

To me, facebook is just part and parcel of life. I won't say my life is enhanced because of it nor my world collapse with the demise of Facebook. I was once hooked on it but I decided that it worth it to spend so much of my time on it.

Facebook is not important for me. My friends in facebook was not mostly chatted with me since I joined there. A hacker stole a people's login and password. I interested a facebook game. My friends post their pictures while I ignored them. They are wasting their actions.

Well I made my facebook account some years ago and haven't used it since then, that's how important it is to me.
