Take me to the POLICE before I do more harm. Scamming: I plead guilty!

Just this morning, I saw my own name sending myself a facebook notifier about a link on making money online to my own inbox.
A few days past, I also saw my own name sending myself a mysterious email, with a link that has the word "Viagra" on it. And the creepiest part was; I saw that on my sent mail folders too!
Then the shocking revelation...well..shocked me! People have hunted for these scammers, and phishers for so long and guess what...they have, all along, been hunting for ME!
I am THE SCAMMER!
I am THE PHISHER!
But how come I don't have the slightest memory of doing anything of that sort? Was I asleep when I did it? Was I drugged? Hypnotised? Under some sort of a spell or a charm?
And if I really were the scammer? Why would I scam myself? Is this spell or charm programmed to self-destruct?
Okay, well, FB suspended my account a while ago, asked me some questions and prompted me to change my password which I just hate because I've been used to my password for years. Then they restored my account. Met this same situation at FB?

I had mine too being suspended yesterday and as you have said prompted me to do and follow some instructions, which I did and have my account back again with a new password. The thing is, I'm puzzled too on why it happened although I am expecting something of this sort would happen one day considering the so many applications that Facebook have. But I haven't done something malicious in the past few days except for not logging off my account in my own laptop for some time. Then just yesterday I just saw in my wife's account that I have posted something in my wall about this money making site but I never have done anything. But I remembered that some of my friends are sending me those stuff yet I just ignored them and never confirmed anything.

Same thing happened to me. Yesterday was my second time being suspended. And the second time I had to change my password

hi theresaaiza sounds like facebook has a huge virus problem and the virus sender has been into your email address book and is spoofing your address to send crap out all over the place. facebook really needs to clean up the viruses, sounds like a few trojan horses to me.

Not me personally, but I've heard of other people who have had problems like that.

Maybe she was the scammer, and the verse you sited seemed to lean towards "Thou shall not lie", and that struck her! So she got mad at you!

Hello,
I haven't had this problem myself per-se, but as an It guy I have seen a lot of clients that have had similar issues.
One thing that I wanted to point out, in case this hasn't been brought up already is the fact that if you use outlook, and you see the email in your sent folder, That is a good indication that you have some nasty software on your computer that is hiding in the background and is using your email client as a re-mailer agent for a spammer, or acting as a full blown open relay smtp server.
Not only is this a problem on account of the issues that you have already had to deal with, it is likely that nasty software is trying to dig itself further in and hide by installing other trojans, malware and rootkits which in turn themselves do similar actions.
I would suggest that you do a thorough security audit of your machine, or have someone do it for you if you are not well versed in computer/network security.
good luck.

that's one of the reasons why am not putting much effort in adding photos to that account, and that's because of that. hackers all the way, if only there is a way to track down these people. well, make sure you add special characters in your facebook account so that no one would check for it.,
