When I am hungry and want something fast, Omelete is fast I can think of to make and eat with toast bread anytime of the day. I clean with neck with cold water. How about that? Anyone with something to share.

Omelettes are one of my favorites as fast cooking goes. I can make a omelette of almost anything. Many times I use leftovers that some people would throw. I save a bit of fried rice, add chives or dided bunch onions (a bit),diced cheese and the eggs. Yummy. Same goes for all veggies. I also make bread pizzas in the toaster oven. Some slices of tomato, cheese, olives or sweet pepper, ham or whatever you have at hand, a bit of dry oregano and parmesan cheese on top et voilá. The cheese mels in less than 10 minutes, while the water boils for the coffee or tea on the side. Happy posting!

You are not the one who doesn´t understand names of things. I can tell you I have yet to check some of the names of plants you named in my post about flowers. Take care!

yep that is fast, I usually cook fried rice in the morning. Well, It's not that fast but it's easy, in frying pan add some oil, saute garlic until golden brown, add Left over rice, salt and pepper, add any left over's such as chicken or pork chops, ham hotdogs, just make sure chopped them first, then a little soy sauce and done.! my kids would finish a whole plate. usually i partner it with omelet or scrambled eggs.

yes, definitely. I usually don't care about my children's food, I just give them what they want. But now I realized that they have to learn to be practical and at the same time choosing the right and healthy food.

You are really describing what my children are doing with their left over rice from the evening meal. They make a good breakfast and sometimes they save bread and egg etc. We need to encourage this in our house. Do you think so?

Hi jak: When I want to eat something really fast I eat a cup of coffe or I make a call to the fast food restaurant near me and I eat there... but I prefer not to take this last option because it's not healthy

I understand, coffee is good to keep awake and for energy to you need, better be careful with the last option, convinient, but health risky, you know it, Have a top day.

Depends on the kitchen readiness: For me: Fried eggs on the oven (3-4 eggs), simultaneously, half-loaf bread toasted and put two/three scoops of butter on it. Please don't get surprised by the volume of this 'so called simple and quick dish'.....that's my appetite.....blame it or like it :-)

I can see that, but cannot wait for rice, 2 minute noodles, the fastest to go. For nutrition sake add egg and drink water- healthy.

Hi, When I am hungry, I guess I will cook instant noodle to fill up my stomach first,at least,to avoid me getting gastric problem. However, there are some dishes that can be prepared quick in 5 mins, that will be fried egg with onions. My favourite dish. Sometimes when I feel lazy to waste to much time in the kitchen, I will simply cook fried egg as one of the dish for dinner. Then stir-fried green vegetable and 1 soup,it will make the dinner dishes to be complete.

I've noticed that a lot of the comments have been noodles. That's my fastest dish too. I'd cook a regular chicken flavored instant noodles. While I'm boiling the noodles with the seasoning, I would toss in some julienned carrots, slivers of chicken fillet and bok choy. Then season with salt and pepper. Voila! A hearty soup in 5 minutes. Enjoy!
