Hello friends! Before you post your response, please mind this - [b]THIS DISCUSSION MAY/MAY NOT BROKE THE STRICT MYLOT RULES, SO IT MAY/MAY NOT GET DELETED[b] Sorry to create such a risky discussion? But, I am really eager to know that isn't myLot gave those rules very tough? I have noticed and learned many rules like - can't do poll postings, Can't insult other, Can't repeat same discussion, Can't do more than 1 response in a discussion etc. I like these rules as they are require in myLot. But there are some rules which I think to be very strict and just against the idea of our. These rules are like - can't use myLot search bar for many times to earn more money, can't create a discussion requesting for reputations, can't upload unlimited images in a day etc. I think these kind of rules are somehow over strict. What do you say mylotters? Please share your thoughts! Thank you!

well...for one, if i'm not mistaken that is, it's called Guidelines and not exactly Laws and rules. and the guidelines are quite general (as what i've interpreted it to be). like a parent telling the child about the basics of what the child is supposed to know, and the rest is up to the child.. from my understanding, the guidelines are there to encourage users to have good clean fun and to build up good and quality discussions. i've been having so much fun here since i first started. and i've got no complaints about the Guidelines at all... it's there to make sure that i don't go too far off tangent and spoil the fun here for other users

i din't need much practice actually...i just imagined it to be like my dad telling me 'no cursing or swearing, no violent actions, no insulting others, no sexist remarks, no criminal things....if you do any of those and i catch you, someone will be punished. other than that, go now and have fun with your friends..' my dad wasn't extremely strict. and those guidelines which he mentioned to me were exactly that, 'guidelines'. it was a reminder for me to be a good person. now if all of us can be that way here, and treat each other with mutual respect at all times and always remembering our boundaries as a person who is interacting with another person, then there really is no problem at all. and there's no reason that we couldn't have good fun now won't it? the other guidelines like the one about repeated discussions and stuff are just there (in my opinion) to make sure that myLot is always fresh and interesting to everyone... i for one wouldn't want to join a forum or a discussion site where the discussions are so lame and boring and always repeated.. so, that guideline is actually telling us to always keep it fresh and interesting. which is actually a good thing isn't it? i mean, it would get kind of boring if we always talk about the same old thing now wouldn't it?

These rules are meant to be there for a reason and you know that but people see and interpret them differently. You see it as very strict but some, including me, see it otherwise. Take this one subject into consideration. There are more than 210 thousand members already and if myLot are not limiting the number of photos/images uploaded in the server, what do you think would happened. For sure one of these days it will be overloaded and they will upgrade again? Although it's there responsibility to have a bigger free space but we also share the same, but the main goal of the site is to create a discussion and participation by expressing our thoughts and not only merely uploading images/photos. Don't get me wrong, but rules are there so members won't violate and make things straight and in order.

Thank you very much for the information about those rules. Yes I wish the strict myLot rules will soon become easy for me. I wish that myLot should give some easy rules that may lower the pressure!

Sasuke when you registered you AGREED to them - THE END! Get used to them. Post quality discussions and move out of the money interests into other places where there are more general topics that you can get involved in then your life on myLot will take a turn for the better!

Well yes I have to agreed myLot rules for joining here. But soon in my experience in myLot I discover the rules are quiet strict for sharing my idea. Wish that this discussion may not get deleted and also myLot to reduce the strictness of their laws!!

And so has the great mysD spoken. (Gosh...can that be classified as sentence???) Anyway....sasuke, yes, you have agreed to those terms when you signed up. Otherwise you will not be here. Being a member of myLot means agreeing to their terms. I find that the rules are quite reasonable, personally. I have used the search engine as much as I need to, and have been rewarded many times. Mind you, that rule is put there to stop people abusing myLot search engine. I didn't realise that you can post only one response per discussion....I will have to look that up...anyway, you can add comments onto your response, so I don't see the problem there.

Hi there Uchiha Sasuke!!! I have agreed to the rules and regulations before signing up in mylot, so this is it, we have to follow those rules.. But i think, i hardly cross those rules.. I strictly restrict myself to go along with the rules.. Anyhow Kung Fu has some rules where we have to follow, like ways everybody have their rules, if u agree to them, u could continue else they have their own way out..

@ both of you:- Yes me too think that we and specially me need to follow these rules to be a good myloter. I think insulting myLot rules via a discussion also just reduct our reputations. My reputations is reducing and I am feeling uninteresting in myLot these days. myLot is just reducing my reputations like a falling egg. Soo my reputations will stand in 1 and I will stop myLot.

I personally appreciate the rules, as if you compared myLot to facebook which is filled with rubbish there is a reason why rules must be abide as then myLot would not exist and then there is nothing.

Rules, guidelines and laws, when they are ridiculous, they are meant to be broken. It's sometimes weird when restricting someone to make certain discussion that what the member might interested to be shared and discussed among other members. Anyway, just post and discuss what ever you like to discuss. If got deleted, then make a new one with other type of discussions. Like one of my friend in mylot, each day around 7 - 8 topics and never respond to someone who giving response to his topic.

Friend I highly support you! I think that broking or unbroken the rules just don't matter in our reputations. myLot only let some members get high reputations and kill other members reputations like terrorists. Started hating myLot for this now....

Well, as how life is unfair, applicable to mylot as well. Even the payout yet to be updated since Friday. Anyway, I will be around mumbling towards some topic I feel like interested to respond to soon. Literally not hating but just a place to hang out mumbling around when I am lazy to talk about certain stuff in real world.
