How would you feel if you were the creator of the universe and everything in it? Would you want to be acknowledge as the one who made it? Or would it be okay with you that someone else takes the credit?

i like this question., it made me smile....
if i where the creator, i would not be offended, rather would look hope fully at all creation, leaving clues and truths scattered around for those who want to look, for those who need to know answers and for those to find out how it was all made and sit back and watch my creations, puzzle and learn and express and create things for themselves rather like we watch our children develop and grow., as much as those first steps are watched so as the youngster doesnt gt hurt., we know they have to make them....
as the chemical processes are found, then added extra., the truth of love and companionship that owning something is not as satisfying as caring for something, but secure in the knowledge that the truth will be revealed, can only marvel at the way the avoidence of the truth is given as facts... offended no., secure in the outcome ..yes...
best wishes

Good question for discussion! Yes, I'd want to be acknowledged and appreciated for creating the universe. Praised and worshipped, not. Especially considering the mess of things made by that 'free will' thing I gave to mankind. If I were, indeed, the Creator, right now I'd end it all and create anew!

Well surprise surprise. One day there will be a new heaven and a new earth. But right now God is being the ultimate supreme being in his long suffering and all loving nature giving everyone on this earth a chance to acknowlege him! I agree I sure would want people to know it was me that created their world.

Ha , that is a no brainer. If some one else took the credit for something I created I would set them straight right away . Gosh, if created a universe and everything in it - I would make an example out of them , sue them what ever. We humans are like that
It is all very hard to imagine , but it makes one think about how God really does feel about every one who doesn't recognize him as Creator. It breaks His heart and He weeps, He longs to commune with is creation. He has put his stamp on everything down to the smallest cell, and it all points back to him.

How true it does all point back to God. I have been listening to an astrologer lately. He said it his field it is hard to find another astrologer that believes we evolved from monkeys even if the schools are still teaching it. He said they all agree there as to be a supreme being that had to have created this world but can't be the God of the bible. LOL, I have to laugh at that one! They are in awe of the universe that they study, know it has to be a supreme being but nope it just can't be that One they talk about in the bible. Suborn or what? What does that tell us about the human nature? Do you suppose the main reason why people dont' want to admit God created this world and everything in it is because then we feel we have to be accountable to someone?

It would be amazing to create this entire universe. But i don't think i could shoulder such a big responsibility.I find managing my family and business is itself quite difficult.Hence i wouldn't want to shoulder the responsibility of the entire universe. If i could create the universe then i would definitely be horrified if someone else got the credit for it.

I would be insulted to say the least; If people wanted to give the credit to someone else for sure. I personally believe that God created the universe and I often wonder how he feels when some people find it so much easier to give the credit to mother nature, evolution or the big bang theory. Of course God as pretty big shoulders he can handle it. Then again if people don't believe God created the universe they aren't worried about insulting him.

Hi CoffeeAnyone, at first glance i may have wanted acknowledgement for creating the universe. After all, the universe is a grand beautiful place and nature on this planet at least would reflect my sense of aesthetics. But since in the area of people I messed up a little, I think I would not mind letting someone else take the credit.

Your post made me laugh. Yes I always wonder about that to. But sence I know how the story goes and why people are the way they are; I think if I were the creator I would still want the acknowledgement!

In my mind people should know their own ability clearly, with the confidence of ourselves, we should also see what we can't do with our abilities. So if I know I have the ability to creat the universe and everything in it, certainly I'll want acknowledge it, but it really a daydream

Certainly it takes someone of a supreme being to create the universe. I can't even imagine being the creator myself as you mention for yourself but a creator did that is for sure.

It would be nice to receive some acknowledgment, but I don't think I would be looking to be worshiped. Of course I would want people to know the truth, and be upset that someone else was getting the credit for something that they didn't do, in only that it was a lie.

Yes, I agree, I don't think there is a person alive that wouldn't want the credit for their own creation.
