will you use you own photos in the internet while signup?

I do use my own photographs. My avatar is of a close up picture I took of a plaque that use to hang on my wall. I do not think there is anything wrong with using an avatar that is not your own picture, but if we post picture to make money they should be our own.

as for me I will use both my photos or an avatar for my profile photo. It depends on what kind of website I an useing and what it is for. If I want to be noticed I will use a currnent photo of myself and update it on accation. I use an avatar when I do not want people to know who I am. like this one I use an avatar because I can unknown if I decied to disscuss controversial topics. I never use anyone eales picture nor celiberity pics. I have used some artwork as an avatar on one site but that is about it.

I always use my original photos when registering to a site. I feel no need to use another image. I'd prefer if others do the same thing as me. At least I got to know not only the name but I can recognizehis face.

I use my own photo in my facebook account because at least there I can control who I want to see me. I don't think the same privacy settings are available here. If there are then I'm not aware of it yet. Do you know? Anyway, that's the reason why I use my dog's picture in my avatar here. I feel shy to show my face... (awwww shux!) Cheers!

I usually do put my real pictures on other sites. Actually I do it on all other sites except here on mylot. I don't know why though. I guess I just did what most of members here do, not posting their own pictures But I do have my picture on my profile!

I won't use my real or actual photo to sign up on any website. I am a private person and do not feel like revealing much.

I'm not that bothered about who sees me. That's me there in my avatar and there's another picture of me and one of my cats in my profile. I may even add more! Does that make me an exhibitionist? Probably not because I think I'm a bit of a troll (looks-wise not posting-wise), but I couldn't give a monkeys about what internet strangers think of how I look. To be honest, when I see a baby as an avatar, I assume it's the child of the poster. From what you've said I was obviously wrong!

Usually i used artist picture,but if there's serious web or bussineess to introduce my self i used my own photo,to help my reputation there.So ups to you guys.

I use my real photo. I have nothing to conceal and nothing to be ashamed of. I am proud of the face God has given me. Sometimes, though, I use photos that are not so vivid, just to avoid getting pranked.
