It is for me. I like to get to the point on a subject matter and not add a lot of fluff at the end. I learned to write for a newspaper and for TV news in college and I was always better with the tv news since it is short and to the point.

Yes it is supposed to be great wisdom to be able to say a lot in little words. But sometimes it's more fun to say more. I believe you have to know when to speak and when not to, and how to find a balance.

Depends on certain issue discussed. Some might need short and simple response. Some response need extra explanations if considering the facts and theories. It's all up to everyone who responding the the discussion sometimes.
