hi everyone, i was surfing in the net when i found an interesting article on dreams. It was written that everything we dream contain significant information for us, putting light on what has happened in our lives or what is happening and providing insights about our future. Do you think its true? Do you believe in such things? i think dreams are what we have seen and how we want it to be. has you ever dreamt of something that later came true? Do dreams really have a meaning?

I personally beleive dreams are extensions of our thoughts that just flow in our subconcious mind and turn into dreams. So in reality they are just an extension of our thoughts. So when i get bad dreams, it really scares that it might jsut be true or probably just my apprehensions. Whatever it may be, dreams are true and we just do not remember enough of it when we are awake to interpret or make any meaning out of it...

You are right Markamemory, we don't remember our dreams well when we wake up. We only memorise the part that marked us, so it becomes difficult to interprete.

Like i said it is not necessary that you would become someone or something, but it coudl be you must have read something or seen a movie about Britney Spears or Jenny McCarthy... like i said an extension of your thoughts....

Dreams do not necessarily mean to happen in real life and provide an insight about our future. They're just a product of our imagination brought about by our emotions.

Dreams have long been regarded as reflections of what's in our mind. We dream of what we see during the day and what we expect to happen. Some people claim that their dreams come true. The same as many people, I dream a lot but none of them has ever come true. So you may know that I don't believe in dreams and never count on dreams to tell my fortune. Dreams are but a mental phenomen indicating the activities of our brain while we are sleeping, and nothing more about it.

I have dreams and experience them quite often. There is nothing really to believe about them unless I do get some insights that usually happen later in the day. As a therapist, I have helped people analyse thousands of dreams - they all have some meaning, but the meaning can either be very profound or very shallow. There is no way to know unless one starts to take the dream apart element by element and disover what it is trying to tell us. The trivia can mean a lot, whilst the "heavy stuff" can mean nothing at all, except, for instance, that we had indigestion in our sleep! _Derek

Dreams are not just imagination of the brain i believe dreams are your conscience giving you information about your life or anything. Some dreams yes are just dreams but i had many dreams which came true and many dreams that answered my questions exactly. I thinks its all on a spiritual level and people who dont really have that level never experience dreams like that

Yup I believe that dreams are like clues in what will happen to you in your future. I swear to God, this happened to me a lot of times. Although I can't really predict was gonna happen next but like it was just like a de javu but the thing is I definitely remembered that this situation had happened in my dream. I just laugh about it sometimes but sometimes it's just weird. But there's one dream that keeps on repeating but haven't happened yet. I keep on dreaming that I was chased by someone and I went inside into this factory and when I got to the rooftop, a bit letter T drops down and crushes me. OMG.. hopefully it won't come true.. =)

Our dreams are figment our imagination. Dreams have nothing to do with reality. They are only symbolic for either of our fears, apprehensions or desires. We should not think too much about our dreams and should forget as the night passes.

i think each of us has our own opinions. in my case, i feel that sometimes dreams do come true and at other times, they're just that-dreams. i have had some normal day to day routines come true before thus i believe they do come true at times. of course some dreams are a little too absurd to come true though as i'm sure you all know. at times, others might even have forgotten what they have dreamt of. i'm not sure if dreams have specific meanings but i feel that sometimes, they're trying to point us towards something in our lives.

Yes i believe dreams have meanings. I have had many dreams that have came true too. Lots of times dreams are symbolic. Sometimes they happen just as we preview them. They may come true anywhere from hours to years later. Sometimes re dreaming until it happens.

I have never had a dream that ended up coming true. I tend to believe that dreams are visuals of your subconscious thoughts and that is why they are sometimes so mixed and make little sense. What is remarkable is how they can be so vivid and life like. I think if there something that one may fear it can come through in dreams.

Hello yes i believe in dreams, many of my dreams have come true, dream interpretation is a science in itself, there are dream readers in my city, their interpretation looks good to me. I usually forget the details of my dream, when i get up.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

Yes I do believe in dreams, in fact some of my dream became true. For example, I dreamt of my husband's birthplace at the age of 18 and I was so shocked when I went to his place and there are landmarks that were present in my dreams. Some of my dreams are bad and if I dreamed a bad dream, I always get up and pray. There was a time that my sister was sleeping with me and we both had the same dreams. Quite scary and my sister don't want to sleep beside me anymore.

I believe that what is in my dreams will come true. Remember your dreams when you wake up will not come true. Because the dream that you think of the brain. The dreams you probably remember the dream future.

sometimes dreams came out as results of our busy activities during the day. but there were really some dreams that triggered my curiosity. I cannot say that I don't believe in dreams, because some dreams I had in the past turned out to be warnings, if I can say that. for example, when I got dreams about flood in certain area. months later, the dreams turned out to be true. so, yeah, I believe some dreams do have a meaning (and warning).

No I don't. Dreams are just figments of our imagination. We dream almost 10 times a night and usually we only remember 2 to 3 of them.

yes... in some instance, but i think dreams are the things we want to happen in our life, these are the things that we are planning to do...we just need to think about it several times even before we go to sleep, and we fall asleep thinking of that thing so we just relate it to...a dream,.so maybe it's up to us on how do we give meaning in the word "dreams"

I believe in dreams, for dreams are the extension of our thoughts. But most of the time my dreams are vague, I only remember bits of it. Mostly I dream of my deepest desire and fear. When I'm stressed on something I kept thinking about it and eventually dream of it.
