What was your longest record over the phone and why was that ?

We spend lots of time on speaking and listening in everyday living.Esprecially when the creation of phone had came to this world many years ago,people started to communicate with this tool.After the world has been changed to be amore busy world in nowaday,even a three years old kid may get a moblie phone on his or her hand.It is bit strange but it is just the fact right in front of our eyes.Well,many people has built a new record with this tiny machine by keep on talking ,talking and talking.Sometimes even their ears hurted but still they are .....on the phone.What was your record and why was that? Share with us?

Well, mine was around 10 hours. It was during my college days when I had this girlfriend. We always talk on the phone usually at night. The longest time we had was 10 hours, starting at 8 in the evening lasting out in the morning around 6 in the morning. Perhaps it there was no class on that day, it could have lasted long since I have to put down the phone to prepare myself for class. Well, we do have long conversations before, but that one was the longest.

Wow 10 hours on the phone? I do understand how people can do that? It was so tough because it really hurt the neck and ear.And on the other hand,people would feel thirsty and hungry after such a long talk.I think this sweet experience must contain all kinds of content in it,otherwise how could you last for nten hours.It was truely a record although it wasn't the longest.I think the phone bill must be very expensive if it was a long distance call(But I think in your case msut be a local call only).Frankly speaking,I have such experience before although it wasn't as long as yours experience.I still remember I was on the bed and talking over the phone and I always have to change my position and hands during that time.I need to pause for a while and went to the washroom once awhile.Sometimes ,I need to stop and went to drink a glass of water before I can go any futher.I soemtimes had to stand up and walk around for a few minutes before I can go to talk on the bed again.It was really something but at that time you wouldn't worry about things like that .Why? It was because you were talking to your love one.But after so many years,if you ask me to do that again,I will definiately to tell you that : " no ,thanks !"But I think someone may still do this marathon talk over the phone if they have an opportunity.But it is just not for me anymore because I really need to go to sleep now.Good night and have a nice day tomorrow.

My mother's best friend is a real talker when it comes to the telephone. There have been times that my mother hasn't been available to answer her phone and Anita will call me instead. The longest period of time that I've ever been on the phone for her is just over two hours. I only use a cellular phone so that is about as long as I'm able to go without getting a headache from being on the phone. It has been a really long time since I've been involved in a marathon telephone session.

I rarely talked over an hour at phone. I remember I talked an hour to my friends because of talking about study and about our future and just general talk about my life. Usually my phone will be very hot afterwards and it's not comfortable to hear the sound in the speaker anymore

Hi wildlittlefan,
I normally keep in contact with my girlfriend texting almost all day. And i call her like only once a week and talk to her for more than an hour. The longest i have been on phone is for 2 hours. We talked for so long coz on the weekend i was going away with friends to a waterfall where there was no network. I normally talk long to her before i go somewhere out. I call her after coming back too. I have talked for about 2 hours with a friend more, and that time my call was completely free, it was a company phone.

the longest phone call ,en ,i remember that only several times for the job hunting .the people we call them as head hunting just call me ,introduce some positions may suit for me ,so them usually acquire for a lot of information about my daily jobs , the achievements,and some others , the longest one may last for about 30 minutes, i just feel my ear is very hot
and other situation may occur is with my girl friend , but normally don't exceed 1 hour
i think too long time may hurt our ear and other parts which we don't know ,cause phone has radiation ,so if no mandatory , we should control the calling time ,right?

longest conversation i had on the phone lasted almost the whole day. i had a long distance relationship and it was a blessing that day, we were both free. so instead of going out, we just talked on the phone for hours and hours. we started at around 9 in the morning till the wee bit hours of the night. i guess we really missed each other.

Generally I don't speak a lot in phone. And I don't have any girl friend it may be one of the reason so that I didn't speak a lot in phones .I remember one day I spend nearly 10 minutes by talking in my phones with my service provider due to some problems it is the long time in my history I believe.

well... with cheap mobile phones.. and amazingly low call rates.. Mobiles are creating a revolutionary in Global industry... They are boon to the society
my Longest waas with my ex-girlfriend sumthin arnd 6 hrs..well uknow.. if u have a girlfriend and its a long distance.. phone is your only lifeline helping u stay connected :)

It was when i broke of with my gf.....surprising right. I was in a bad state when a good friend of mine started consoling me. She started diverting my mind from the situation i am in by talking to me.I used to talk to her almost everyday for hours togather. That month the bill of my phone was 2872 INR on the landline and 2873 on my mobile. It was just a rupee difference. i had also spent around 2000 in cash. I used to talk for almost 8 hours on a stretch from night 10 to morning 6.

haha believe it or not longest i've ever been on a phone was 8 hrs, and that was with my best friend who moved away, back in high school, second longest was 7 hrs and that was with my current boyfriend of 2 years. I love phone chats,texts are overrated, if you really love me, call me!
