Friend I use to change my cell phone per year or else if not possible after two damn sure i will change my cell phone and i won't keep the same cell phone. I will get bored by operating same handset continuously. So do you oftenly change your cell phone or you use only one cell phone from long time. If you are using cell phone for a long time may i know from how many years old is your cell phone?

I usually update my cell phone when our contract ends because they will give you free cell phones. Right now I am pretty happy with my cell phone. I didn't want to update the contract for another two years in December so maybe we'll just hold on to our phones. We usually just text message each other or use it very sparingly.

It is the same here in The Netherlands, I think I might start to do the same when my comming subscription will expire.
In Denmark it depends on the subscription you are getting if you get the phone for free or if you need to pay a little for it, it could be because thier subscription periods only last for 6 months.

I use my cellphones for quite a long time. I've been using my current one for less than a year now.I change my phone because of the technology I guess caused it doesn't have wi-fi and other social networking kiosk offered on phones now a days other than that I'm still happy with it and using it for almost three years. But upon buying my current phone I've been using it as secondary phone with different network. As long as the phone suite my needs then I used it for a long period of time.

Oh means if your cell phone doesn't include good technology features then only you are going to change it. But friend we can't upgrade the technologies into our cell phone i think so.

I have only one cellphone and it is a bit old now. I have not purchase it because it was given to me by my sister who works outside my country and I think I will not buy a new one for the time being. It may be old but it is still working fine. I must say that I like my cellphone because it was given to me by my sister who works hard to buy it.
My cellphone is only 2 years old in my hands. I guess the more the cellphone stay longer the more it will become dear or important to you. I will not replace it with other new brand today...probably if it get's lost or stolen I will buy another one.

My cell phone is only a few months old, and like you I do change my phone every year, mostly because i like change, The thing of it is, when I buy a phone, there is always a better phone that comes along, so I just seem to buy then to quickly. However, the phone I have, I had done a lot of research before I bought it to make sure it was I really wanted to buy, as I like phones with lots of features and it does have that. Now, I probably will change my phone sometime next year, as there will be an update to the ph0one I have, coming out. My phone is a Samsung O)mnia 2, and it does everything I need it to do. Take care, and have a very good day.

Yup friend we should have change in our life then we feel better and comfort and we will come to know so many new features from that. But if you use only one upto life time then very hard for me to operate up to my life time!!!!! so impossible for me to use for life time. Enjoy the life friend. Happy mylotting.

I used to change my cellphone every year but not anymore. I've learned to be more practical and economical. I also learned a lot from my previous experiences. It's actually very funny that the cellphone left to me which I'm currently using is my oldest phone. It has been with me for four years now.
A year after I bought this cellphone I got a new one which just after 6 months of being used was robbed. The kind thief was so nice to have left me the older phone which I have until now. The next year I decided to get a new phone again. However, just after 4 months the phone decided not to turn on at all. I got it when I decided to sign for a new contract for a postpaid plan. I had it checked since it has 1 year warranty. It worked fine for a couple of weeks then decided not to function again. I was so upset that i called the Customer Service Department of my Cellphone company. There answer to me was that I need to coordinate with their vendor and have it checked again.
So now, I'm still stuck for another year of contract before I can have it terminated. The cellphone which only worked fine for 4 months became a toy of my 11 month old son. I got fed up having it checked over and over again and just decide to give up, keep the plan until next year and never ever buy another phone until my old phone cease to function. That's the only time I'll have it replaced again.

Very nice to read your valuable responce my dear friend. It is really nice to read about that thief and he left the older cell phone for you. And in the last paragraph you have mentioned that cell phone which only worked fine for four months is now became a toy of your 11 month old son. So nice know to see the playing a child. I really like kids or children.

My cellphone was bought on February 14th last year. It works very good and I am satisfied with it. I have no plans to change a new cellphone. As long as my cellphone works fine, I don't want to waste money to change a new cellphone.
I love China

I don't have a cell phone with a contract.. so I don't change it all that often..
I have a prepaid -Tracfone. I have an LG phone it is about 2 years old -it works fine so I don't think I will be changing it until it breaks or I see some other kind I really truly like.
I don't see a reason to upgrade, when a month or so later you will see a new model you think you can not live with out..
It is crazy how much waste we produce now with technology. Items are obsolete almost as soon as you take them out of the package.
There is always a new and improved model right around the corner. Just wait a few minutes... :-)

I got two cellphones at the moment and i normally run them until they cant hold the power long enough or other various broken stuff, so i run them out.
My oldest will be 3 years in November and the other is 2years and some months. Now I will be getting a new phone tomorrow if everything goes well because one of them have started not to work on one button.... (The hang up button, not so handy when calling people and they dont take thier phone!)

I got my cell phone around a year ago. I never plan on changing phones because I think that if you've already got one that works, it would just be a wast of money to get a new one. I only buy a new cell phone if the old one breaks. I also never spend more than 40 euros on one. I don't need the latest model with all the gadgets and all that, I just want something that will allow me to communicate with people easily.
