Hello there,
I don't when i start becoming lazy in bringing my mobile phone, maybe it's because i don't put "eload" on my phone since i don't have much to send a message or call to. like today i decided not to bring my phone even though it was needed in case i need help from mom in case i get into trouble.

I still bring my phone eventhough it has no load. This is for emergency purposes. However I seldom use it and it is always in my bag. Whenever i received a text messages I always feel sorry for myself for not replying on the message and wishing those friends who texted me call me instead. I believe you still have to bring it, for everyone to reach you out load or without load. Anyway, that is your decision so interfere .

Hello grecy,
that's one thing i am guilty at as well. why bring phone when you can't even call or text. worst, my phone goes low battery when ever some one would call me. afriend of mine tried calling me but unfortunately, i kept getting a low battery. yes, it is my decision, which has always been.

There is a problem with your battery. Very similar to my problem. When someone call me, my phone will get off, so I rather text whose them to text me instead.

most of the time, this thing happens to my sister's phone.she always have her cellphone full of battery then when someone called her up,the battery turns low, even you can't hear anyone on the other line,so it's better to text instead.waste of load to call her.

dear letran,
You should be bringing your mobile with you even if you are not putting some load in it.
Becoz,it can be very helpful in case of emergency.
I also do not put loads on my mobile, but still i always bring it with me.
So,in any case my mom and siblings can reach me when there is trouble esp my kids.
Mobile is the best when we need to contact someone.

i still do bring my mobile phone even if it has load or not.as long as i can receive messages or calls especially those which are emergency ones.it's just in case of trouble, but yes,it would be our fault if we can't have load to text or call back when troubles arise.but still,it's much convenient to bring them.

Hello Annavi,
the trouble with loading is that sometimes when you get to excited or addicted in texting a person and all of a sudden it frustrates you when you found out that you can't text any more. yes, it is prettry convenient compare to looking for a land line and pay for it.

Hello Ceekay,
I agree it's important to bring you're mobile phone is with you just in case you get into trouble. but sometimes, having phones can also get you into trouble, like what if you got robbed and you're phone was snatched, that's a lot worse. as for money you can just give it to them.

Me on the other hand, mobile phone is very important to me. Because it's the only bridge I have with regards to communication most especially that my mom is abroad. So this is the fastest way I know that could make me ask her welfare. So it's very important with me.
As for the load/credits thing, I am not so craze about it unlike before during the first days when mobile texting was just introduced.

Mobile phones are indeed very important. I bring mine whenever I go out of the house or office since I might need it in case of emergency.
However, there are times when I forget to bring it or purposely leave it. I have to admit that I feel liberated even for a short time. I do not have to check on it every now and then.
Have a nice day!

hello Letran.
u need your phone to not your mom worried. maybe she want to contact u, but if u don't bring it, she will guess something bad happen to you.
otherwise, we never know if we would face an emergency situation, who knows u might need it to call your family

I like having my phone on me for emergency purposes.. As well as just for fun, and so I can text and make calls without having to be by a landline or a house phone. It's irritating today, for me, though, because last night I dropped my BlackBerry in a puddle of water (accrued from the stupid rain. Ergh) and now I'm paying $100 (after insurance) and waiting for it to come in the mail. But it's such a long waiting game! I think I'm going to go crazy! I thnk that, if anything, portrays our horrible addictive dependence on modern technology, doesn't it?

Hello Maezee,
that's one reason why i didn't want to bring my phone in public, what if it fell. i remember my mom telling that her friend so forgetfull that she accidentally dropped her mobile phone in the toilet where she peed and she forgot to flush it. probably if i had the money for the new gadgets i wouldn't mind.

Mobile phones are very important these days. You will in trouble at any time, and if you are lack of phone its very hard to get help from any one. It is okay in case when you are at home home. Here you can use your parents phones but there are some time where you have to have your own phone.

Hello hotwheels,
Yes i agree that they are important. sometimes, being in trouble is what i need to learn in life. bringing mobile phone would just add to the pain because they would have totally taken my phone and then beat my up anyways. maybe i will take that advice.

well, in that case, you really need to take responsibilities of yourself and not get into troubles!
as an young adult (or perhaps already a full adult?), you cannot expect your mom to clean up your mess for you.
Good job!
