The seventh book: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the last book in the series by J.K. Rowling. She said that she would take a break from writing books, then she would write again, but probably something totally different from Harry Potter and wizards and magic and stuff like that. Do you really think that she's going to not write anything about Harry Potter after the 7th book? Or do you think that she just doesn't want to give spoilers out, and she really WILL write something about Harry Potter? I think she will, maybe, I'm not completely sure, but Harry Potter is very popular and a lot of people love it. I don't see why she wouldn't make another Harry Potter related book.

I adore Harry Potter book's. Love them! I am hoping she will make a 8th one it would be so awesome. Wouldn't it be cool if the 8th one would be about Harry and Ron's kids Hermioneand maybe a few of their friends offsprings..and maybe Harry and could be teachers at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. and can you imagine the trouble their kids can get into? Maybe Ron and them have sets of twins like his brothers and they get into some of the same mischief as their uncles did? Would love another book...if she ever decides to make another one even though she says that the chapter is closed on the Harry Potter Series.

Since she is not wanting to write more of the Harry Potter Series at this time..Maybe she would sell the rights to the books and their characters so that someone else might carry on the series. Now that would be awesome.
Thanks for the best response, I really appreciate it a lot.

I love harry potter, both the novel and the movies are great series. If J.K Rowling want to make another novel that aren't related with Harry Potter story, I hope she get another great story idea she will write and become another great novel story.

I've read all the Harry Potter books and I absolutely loved them! I really hope that, if J.K. Rowling does write again, then she continues the Harry Potter story! I think that would be very nice and would definitely attract a lot of readers. I think that she has a wonderful imagination in anycase and I will always be an avid reader of her books.
When I went through her books it was nothing but pure escapism for me and she definitely has a way with words! At present my Harry Potter books are gathering dust but I think that I may pick the first one in the series and start reading Harry Potter all over again! Andrew

According to J. K. Rowling, there will only be seven books of Harry Potter's adventures. She has said in various as well as on her own website , that she will not be writing any more Harry Potter books. There has been some discussion that she might consider writing another informative book, ike an encyclopedia, about the Harry Potter universe for charity, similar to her other works Quidditch Through the Ages,The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

She may have very seriously meant it when she said no more Harry Potter. But then a story may come into her head and make her change her mind too. You never know!

I really doubt that she will write another Harry Potter novel. I think that she really meant it when she said that she won't write another Harry Potter novel. I do think that she will write more books, but I don't think that she will write another Harry Potter.

I remember J.K. Rowling once said in an interview that she's not doing any Harry Potter books anymore. I think she said that before The Deathly Hallows was released.

I really do not think she will write another Harry Potter book. I think she wanted to focus on other stories and try something different. She could never write again and be set for life financially. Must be nice.

hi Fantasy17
This is just my opinion, I think JK Rowling has covered all the aspects of Harry Potter in all seven books. However if she is going to pursue Ron and Hermione including all the other characters maybe she will be able to do a sequel but not focused on Harry anymore.

I think she already closed the Harry Potter series for good. She might still write something about wizards and magic but they'll might be focused on other characters like Dumbledore for instance. But the one written in Harry's point of view looks close. She can even start another series with a different theme. J.K. Rowling has great imagination and who knows what coming next. I'm looking forward to her next book.

I don't think she will write an 8th book, based on what I've read. She seems to be done with Harry Potter and ready to move on to new ideas. Also, she wrote an epilogue in the 7th book, which pretty much ends things. Though I miss Harry Potter, I'm sure J.K. Rowling's next potential project will also be amazing and easy to love.
