I am just curious if many of the mylot users are always traveling by plane. I had my last plane ride last April. It was a long travel for I had 4 plane rides one way with 3 stop overs. wow!! that was tiresome. In one plane we took 12 hours.. the other 4 hours and an hour for the other 2 planes. I bit scary to me specially when there is turbulence. But it is exciting when you reach your destination though.

Being in the UK we don't fly a lot as we can drive most places. The last time I flew was in December to Mexico for Christmas and a wedding. Long flight but we made it.

Actual flying does not bother me as I know I am safer in an aeroplane than driving a car but I do find airports very tedious. Our local one Norwich is quite good but that is only because it is small with only 4 gates and one of those is only for helicopters so there is only a choice of 3 gates all of which are in the same room.

My last airplane ride was in 2005 when I flew to Florida. It was scary, becauause there was a storm and we got stuck in turbulence. We actually couldn't take our second flight on time because of the storm and had to stay in a local hotel half way there.

The last one was when I went on a package tour of Australia and New Zealand. I have taken several flights even before this and the most number was when I was on a package tour of US and Canada - 21 flights to be exact and every single one of them was safe, enjoyable and accident free. But I met with a serious accident close to home when I was in an auto!!! Strange are the ways of life!!

I have always wanted to travel and these package tours are real blessings as they take care of all the arrangements. Don't forget to include Europe in your dreams if you have not already, specially Switzerland!

My last flight was to China in February this year which was a 4-5 hour ride. The furthest I went to was Europe which took about 13 hours. Even though a plane ride was always tiring, I always enjoy my time on it, I can eat, watch movies, listen to music, sleep and look at the beautiful scenery outside. Even when I experience turbulence, I feel ok.

I've never been on an airplane.
Hopefully at some point within the future I will be able to visit the states but I'm not very keen on the idea of flying. I also get very home sick, which gets in my way of visiting places and I only generally go away in the United Kingdom. I've been to France once and that's all so far.
In the future maybe, I would love to visit some of the friends I've met online.

I had my last plane ride in July 2010. With my baby daughter and disabled toddler son I flew from Vancouver to London. We were on our way home from our trip to British Colombia in Canada. I am very keen on traveling and usually fly on a return trip at least once a year. In January 2009 my disabled toddler son and I flew from London to Cape Town return. I fly on planes because they are quick and can go right across the other side of the world in the matter of hours.

I had my last airplane ride last June...i really wanted to travel by a boat/ship bu my mom didn't want because she said it was dangerous.. But the plane ride didn't last that long, just an hour, but it was delayed though. Then we had a 5 hour travel riding a bus.. That's why we arrived to our destination almost at midnight. It was fun and tiring.

Hi! I preferred traveling by plane. Not only the travel time is faster and its just like riding a "flying bus" but the exposure to risks while traveling is shorter as compared when taking a boat. My last airplane ride was four months ago. My friends and I decided to have an out-of-town vacation and get together in one of the sought after tourist destination in the Philippines - Cebu and Bohol. Though we came from different cities, we agreed to take a plane and meet each other in Cebu City spend some time visiting some of their landmarks and tourist spots then we will take the ferry in going to Bohol. It was really fun and we all welcomed the break from our usual busy stressful lives. Now I am looking forward to my next airplane ride and I hope it will be soon. :D Have a good day and happy mylotting! :D

Hi,
I never travelled internationally but I always ride a plane whenever I go home to the province. My workplace is far from home though it only takes 1 hour and 30 mins. The last time I rode a plane was May this year,I went home with my daughter because we were invited to my friend's wedding and my daughter was one of the flower girls. My husband didnt come with us so my baby was really crying in the airport bidding goodbye to him.But when we were up in the plane she was so excited and happy at least I was able to relax while on the plane.

I have only traveled once on airplane and it was about 4 years ago. Actually i am a poor guy and cant afford airplanes my that trip was sponsored from a rich friend and i remember it was an old type of Fokker plane and when it started its engine it was terrible noise all the peoples in the plane trying to cover their ears to avoid that noise and then when it reached up in air that engine voice stopped. My flight was about 2 hrs and it was not a pleasant experience coz it was an old model and small airplane.
Well lets see when fate give me my 2nd chance to travel through airplane.

My first airplane ride was last July. That was my first time ever and I hope i could ride again! I felt so scared at that time due to turbulence. The clouds were so dark and I could see some lightning. I chose to seat by the window because I wanted to see the clouds when I'm up on the air.lol. But it scares me though.hehe..
It went fine and I just hope i could travel again with my friends.

Hi,
My last airplane ride is last year December 2009.
I was on my way back to my hometown and I have to
take 2 flights to reach my hometown. It meant I have
to transit at one airport and get to another plane
in order to reach my town.
It can be quite tiring, but hoping to see my
family members,it make my tiredness gone.

I have not been on an airplane since my senior yesr of high school. My family and i flew o hawaii. It was the best airplane ride of my life. I remember playing along with some of the other passengers in a contest about reaching our destination, i don't remember now what the prize was, but it made the flight more fun.
