What is the difference between Smart and Handsome?

Every day i use to hear these words so many times means countless of times but i am in full of confusion what exactly the difference between these two words Smart and Handsome. I thought both are same but my friend told me that both are completely different but he is not giving correct information. So i am asking about that one to you friends.........

I am assuming that you are talking about their usage in adjective as in 'John is smart and handsome' kind of way.

Handsome is a word to use for a male's appearance. Smart is used for our intelligence. smart as a slang expression can mean smart mouth. this means you are saying something you should not say.

You know what differences between the two ? For me,if I say smart, i think its you. And if i say handsome, it looks like...Alex O'Loughlin.

Hmm nice discription that you have given. But still if you expand your sayings then i could have understand it clearly. Why because whatever the topic that you want to understand, you should understand it completely rather than knowing it half.
