Do you response to your friend's discussion here in myLot?

Do you feel obligated to response to your friends discussion here in myLot? What do you think when the discussion she discussed was not in your interest? I have friends here and I always wanted to respond or comment in their discussion if I am interested to. But mostly I respond to discussions in my interest. How about you?

i always read some discussions but if its not my interest i dont reply on them..im also new here and pls add me..thank you..

i do not feel obligated. and nobody should. a discussion should be have free flow of thoughts. it should not be mechanical. it should become interesting as thoughts come in.
i only participate in discussions that are of interest to me. and i won't feel hurt if my friends do not find my discussion interesting. it all depends. :-)

i don't know anyone from mylot, i got to asked my cousin to join but he was not interested, he only made around one or two replies and after that he quit, i only respond to those topics that i see interesting, like your topic ;)

Thanks nancy. Responding to discussion is like eating someone's recipe. If we don't seem to like it, then we will not taste it. It's hard to eat something you don't like right. And it's so hard to answer to a discussion that you don't know about. :-)

Yeah, I receive so many emails regarding the responses that I get to my discussions, and I see to it that I can comment or reply on all of that :_

I don't! Haha! Unless of course I have something to say to his discussion. But if I don't, I really don't bother responding. It might sound mean, but I've really got nothing to say if I don't have anything to say. And I think I wouldn't be following mylot guidelines if I just responded something which does not contribute to the discussion just for the heck of responding to my friend's topic.

Yeah friends, because I don't wanna sound funny about my comment if it goes the other way. How about your own topic? It says that we must look back to the topics we've made and not just leave it without responding to the comments?

The first thing that I check after logging in here is the discussion posted by my friends. I spend most of my time responding to their discussions. If none seem interesting enough, I check the top discussion, then, go back to my friends' and lastly the responses I get from my discussions.
I love responding to my friends' discussion. Somehow it gives me an idea of who they are and what they are.

Same here, I only respond to my friends discussions when it's of my interest. Basically because I don't have the words to say when I respond to topics that I don't have any idea with or can't relate to their discussions. It's a bit odd if I go out of the topic just to respond to their discussions.. :D

Hi dear,
I give topmost priority to the friends discussions. Even though it is not belongs to my interest subject, as a friend, I like to respond to it. If you notice the same you will understand it. Whatever the queries you raised, I think I have attended it.
Likewise, my other friends also come in line and I will try the best effort to answer to all.
If there is nothing, the next priority is today’s' top, unresolved, best responses etc. Also, if get time I will go through all the items, as I like all the topics in myLot.
As I like to take part in the discussion posted by the friends, I won't get time to start with a new topic of my own.

I only responds to discussion which are in my interest. Answering to various discussions is not easy especially if your experiences and knowledge about things is not enough. I simply joined discussions where I can relate my situations and knowledge. Since I'm still young I couldn't discuss with mature people with mature topics. Yet I'm trying to joined few simple topics.

Am also thinking that we some knowledge about the discussion before we are going to comment .... then only we can make good comment on their article........ I think it is not a good thing to comment on unknown discussion...... so please be realistic........

Usually I always search discussions under the ones that were started by my friends. I don't feel obligated to do it. I just do it because I think that some of my friends discussions are way better than the ones I search under my interests. I do though feel obligated to post a comment to whomever responded to one of my discussions. I don't know why but I feel awful if I wait to long to comment on their response to my discussions.
