Did anyone else get an email from PayPal today stating they are doing away with PayPal Plug-In? The service is stopping on September 22nd. This may not be a big deal to some people, but I use Plug-In at least 30 times a day to fill in information for new sites, free samples, every time I need to sign in to a site I have to use it, and it is just a great convenience. If I had to input my name and address manually all day long I would waste tons of time. They stated in their email that they are focusing on other areas. What? What does that mean??? I didn't know it took so much of their time to offer something that worked in an automated fashion. Please tell me if you are as mad as I am, and if you use PayPal Plug-in as much as I do.

PayPal Plug-In also offers the ability to generate a secure credit card number when you are purchasing something online and want to use funds from your payPal account but don't have a site that takes Paypal. Plug-In can generate a credit card number for one time use to purchase the item online. Once it is discontinued on Sept. 22nd I will have to use a regular credit card instead of being able to use extra money in my PayPal account. Bummer. I think the only sites that accept PayPal is ebay, and a few other sites listed on PayPal shopping.

Hi, As far as PayPal Plug-In, please look at the response in the number 1 post. It explains all about PayPal Plug-In. I verified with PayPal that it is definitely not a spam email and the Plug-in free service is discontinuing on Sept. 22nd.

Thanks for the welcome to the site. It seems like a fun place to interact with other bloggers. As far as payPal Plug-In, please refer to the response listed above as to what PayPal Plug-In is (sorry, but it was a long email response and I didn't want to have to retype it in again). Thanks.
