Can you say now that you are ready to be married?

i'm courting this girl i really love. Then suddenly, when things getting in favor of me, i ask myself: am i ready for this? is she the one i will marry? am i ready to have my own family? that's kinda confusing me right now...

lupin4fujico - Don't know your age or what you do, but I truly like the word "courting" it's a word that rarely exists anymore but is full of respect. That in itself is a feather in your cap. What your feeling is very normal. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people out there get the jitters ( I did). The only thing I can share that may help is: make sure most of your priorities and beliefs are in tune with each other - that goes for children, hobbies, religion, the roles of husband and wife etc. Please make sure you and she get along with both sets of parents. Trust me, you will them in many areas of your life. There will always be little things that annoy us about our husbands and wives but that's what makes us so interesting. Life would be very boring if we were all the same.

i'm 25 years old. to be honest, i never even have a girlfriend, but i can say i tried. That's due to my other priorities. I wanted to be known in the world, unluckily i'm not doing it well. I wanted to be different. But lately, i met this girl and i said to myself, she's the one i've been waiting. Now, i have new dreams. I want to have money, and take her around the world...just the two of us. Other than that, i hardly think about any dreams. She's very beautiful...that's the first thing i saw to her, but she's more beautiful inside. at her age, 19 to be exact, she's hardworking for herself and her family. That's why i can say, she's very decent and good person. Unlike me, i spend at the top of my money just to make myself and others happy.
Now, i think i'm doing it right to earn her answer. i just wanted it to be forever, so i'm taking my time and not unto rushing things, because i'm still open to the possibility that we may be for each other. but i really wish, it was her.

heheh, nice to hear that you and i have a lot in common. i'm very spirited, but i don't like the idea of hurting others. i'd rather hurt myself. i guess we can talk more if you want. i'm glad someone understands...^^
